Hello there! It's so very nice to meet you!
So you want to be a Pokemon trainer?
Welcome to the world of Pokémon! My name is Oak! However, people just call me the Pokémon professor!
This world is widely inhabited by creatures known as Pokémon!
We humans live alongside Pokémon as friends. At times we play together, and at other times we work together.
For some people, Pokémon are pets. Others use them for battle and develop closer bonds with them. Myself? I conduct research so that we may learn more about Pokémon.
All right, the time has come. Your very own tale of grand adventure is about to unfold. On your journey, you will meet countless Pokémon and people. I'm sure that along the way you will discover many things, perhaps even something about yourself. Now, go on, leap into the world of Pokémon!

Welcome to the Pokemon RP. To get started, please go to the Pokemon Master Thread.

This thread is specifically for IC posts, keep all OOC posts in the Master Thread.
Also, post all sheets in the Master Thread. Please read the rest of this first post for all the rules, and how to RP here.

Rules of the World

Spoiler

-> Keep things at a fair length.
Try to write more than a few lines or some 'chatting', go in depth with detail and your character whenever you can. Keep in mind things will be evaluated. (5 lines minimum.)

-> Character Control
Remember you are no Pokemon Master, so please remember that when you battle in the PO system, no cheating please. Also remember that you can't instantly teleport around from place to place.

-> Pokemon
Because we are running everything through PO, please don't cheat and give yourself Pokemon you haven't captured, over level your Pokemon beyond what they are suppsoe to be.

-> No OOC Only Posts.
I can't stress this enough. This thread is meant to only be used for IC posts. If you need to ask a question or request something from the GM use the OOC thread.

Non-playable characters will mostly be portrayed by the game masters. Certain characters can be used by more people. Keep in mind these NPCs use colour-coded posts, so refrain from using colours in your own posts. You may request an NPC battle in the OOC thread (see link above)

The day had began and Danny would set foot in his journey as a normal trainer. His first task would be to arrive at Dawn town and acquire a Pokedex. Of course, that wouldn't be fun if he did it with his real appearance.

"Power!!!" Shouted Danny as he left Professor Oak's Laboratory with a Pokedex in his hands. This time, he was disguised as a martial artist, wearing a karate gi with a black belt and spiky hair. His characteristic golden mask; nowhere to be seen. A well mannered Hitmonlee walked besides him. Being faithful in his role, Danny lift his leg up high as if he was kicking the thin air. His Hitmonlee followed the motion. "Who from you weaklings dares to challenge the Karate Master Bruce?!" He shouted, challenging any pokemon trainer in the vicinity. His disguise for today would be Karate Master Bruce, a prideful and cocky macho trainer.

Those born into power will rule all.

Taco Lord exited the pod sent to this region and with two pokeballs, set off on a mission. Scanning the area, for other intelligence, Taco Lord found Professor Oak's laboratory and at his own mighty pace, made his way towards the building. He could hear loud noises coming from the location where the lab was. "Annoying." Moving past the human as though he was simply the air, Taco Lord made his way into the lab, grabbed a pokedex and simply left the lab with a cold feeling.

Scanning once again, Taco Lord found the Route to exit this location as people started to move around the pod he came from.

Sven had been laying on top of the gate at the entrance to professor oak's lab. It was that time of the year and trainers from all over the region were coming to get either pokemon or gear to start their journeys. Sven watched the new trainers in hopes of a test match. He had plenty of battle experience himself, but he had only battles twice with milos, his milotic, so far. His other pokemon, Vorg, he only recently caught on the way here, and it seems to have troubles listening. Since a crushing defeat could negatively influence pokemon morale, gaining experience against opponents of similar status was the best way to go for now.

Among the new trainers, one in particular stood out, yelling obnoxiously. His attitude reminded him of his step brother, rocky's, which annoyed him quite a bit. He raised his pokedex and pointed it at the pokemon next to him. "Hitmonlee, the Kicking Pokémon. Hitmonlee can extend and retract its legs at will to kick opponents from almost any distance." Despite being annoyed by the mans behavior, this was generally the chance he'd been looking for, he didn't want to pass it up.

"Excuse me sir." he said approaching the man that had been kicking in repetition. "Well, if you're looking to fight personally, you're out of luck. However if it's a pokemon battle, I wouldn't mind." He declared spinning a ball on his finger as a form of taunting.

[Bionsan]

Danny looked at the incoming man. He studied his posture, the man seemed different from the rookie trainers around this place. He might be at his own level.
"Very well, lad! I admire your confidence but beware... MY FIGHTING POWER IS OVER 9000!!!" Shouted Danny, disguised as Bruce, with confidence. You could almost see his confidence materialize into flames out of his 'burning' body. "Hitmonlee! Step forward!"

"Hit-mon-lee!" Obeying his master's command, Hitmonlee jumped high into air and flipped twice before landing down and bowing at his opponent. He then raised its long leg and waited for his opponent while warming up by kicking the thin air. "Fight hard, Hitmonlee! If you fail we shall do one thousand pushups!"

"So its up first, huh?" He said putting his pokeball back on his belt. "Sorry pal, not your turn yet." He immediately grabbed his second, looking at the man. "It seems he is also carrying one other, which would make this a two on two match, I should be able to pull this off." he was thinking to himself. He threw his ball really high into the air, almost as if he'd gotten nervous and messed up his throw. "You're up, Vorg!"he yelled. A large bird appeared in the sky, it's shadow darkening up the area where hitmonlee stood. "Good luck." Sven declared to his opponent.

"It wont be as effective with only two opponents, but start things off with stealth rocks." Sven declared. Rocks began to float around hitmonlee, however the remained there suspiciously, they did not attack.

"Now fly in cautiously and lets find its range" he yelled. However aerodactly flew in head first, ignoring his call. While this may have seemed like a set up to let the enemies guard down to a good tactician, it was merely a lack of cooperation between pokemon and trainer.

[Bionsan]

"Stealth Rocks huh? If I recall correctly these pointed stones will hurt any pokemon that switches in... Very well... I WONT SWITCH!" Danny shouted again, his leg this time was raised high in the sky, ready for a kick. "Hitmonlee! Crush him... Hi Jump Kick!"

Hitmonlee bowed at the command. Afterwards he leapt high above in the sky, spinning rapidly through the thin air in order to gain momentum. "HIT-MON-LEE!!" After gaining the necessary momentum to feed his attack, Hitmonlee released a shout before coming down at the Aerodactly and aiming to strike its head with the bottom of his foot. If it misses, Hitmonlee would crush into the ground, damaging itself greatly, though this activates its Reckless ability, empowering the move's power.

"This isn't good. Aerodactyl's moves are quite lethal for Hitmonlee. I might have to reveal myself in a few turns." Whispered Danny under his breath, this time as his real self, not a foolish disguise.

[Lavi]

"Dodge it, it'll take damage," Sven yelled, however the aerodactyl ignored his call once more charging head on, it took the attack. While it's flying typing may resist, its rock typing neutralized the damage, causing it to get shaken by the attack. Aerodactyl got knocked backwards and took a landing on the ground a few feet away. "Don't let him take the offensive, Vorg Earthquake." Sven commanded. Surprisingly, the aerodactyl actually did as instructed, using a powerful earthquake that would hit right as the hitmonlee landed to maximize damage by not giving it time to escape, since it has powerful legs. Sven wasn't sure if the aerodactyl had listened to him after it took damage, or if they were just thinking of doing the same thing.

"Now vorg, use stone edge and keep your distance, he cant hit you well in the air." However vorg charged in head on once more, ignoring his call, so he raised his pokeball and it disappeared. "Return." he declared with a sigh. "How degrading. Milos, you're up!" he yelled throwing his second pokeball. A Milotic appeared before hitmonchan practically sparkling, smirking at it as if it weren't impressed at all to try and tick it off.

[Bionsan]

"Shit!" Hitmonlee was unable to dodge the Earthquake attack since Aerodactyl performed it as he landed from his previous attack. Despite the attack not gaining STAB from Aerodactyl's typing. Hitmonlee's abysmal defenses caused him to take serious damage.

As the man commanded his Aerodactyl to use Stone Edge, Danny replied with his own command. "Use Stone Edge too! Aim to counter his rocks!" Hitmonlee obeyed and his body started glowing while shards of rocks started levitating left and right of him. The glow ended as the shards started flying against the Aerodactyl. Although Danny's opponent decided to withdraw Aerodactyl, sending a Milotic for the fight. The shards however were still in play and headed for Milotic instead.

"Now hang in there, prepare to react against its attack!" Hitmonlee gained a defensive stance, ready to swiftly attack the enemy Milotic in case it attempted an attack.

[Lavi]

"Milos, counter the stone edge with scald." he ordered while snapping his finger, however milos, like aerodactyl, disobeyed. It didnt charge in recklessly though, instead it went to sleep, using rest. The stone edge scraped milotic, but it wasn\t a clean hit, and didnt seem to have a whole lot of effect. This was due to milotic's ability, marvel scale, raising its already maximized defense by 150%.

Truth be told, milotic didnt disobey, the snap was a cue to use rest, but he hoped that this method would lower the opponents guard. "What the hell are you doing, wake up!" he yelled, acting as if it was doing it's own thing like the aerodactyl did. Sven was quite good at acting frustrated, since he got in arguments with his brother often, and acting was the best way to win his dads favor, so he was quite the natural at it. Little did he know his opponent was much more of an actor though.
