Apollodorus stood to the left of Rexxar, waiting. The arena was deathly quite as King Demos declared that Rexxar and Simeon would fight first. At this Apollodorus could not help but frown as it meant that he would have to wait for the chance to battle, and thus his chance to prove his worth. Due to his looks he was always looked down on, but if he won the games that would change, they would have to accept him. Not that he would say any of this out loud. Standing aside so that Rexxar could get at the arena he sated silent with the rest and waited, his had itching to grab his sword. At the same time a gust of wind blew though the arena and caught his cape, blowing it up. raising his left hand to keep his hair out of the way he stood still. He was a Spartan, nothing would move him. The wind carried onwards and picked up the dust in the arena, causing a haze to cover the ring. This would hake it harder to see for all. |

Arcantas covered herself with a cloak and departed from the bakery. The battles were starting soon, but she didn't want to get there to early as the Athens had bad habits when they were made to wait. And quite frankly she didn't feel like snapping someone's neck, crap, she thought about it. Taking her leave and into the streets, she covered her head with a hood and made her wings warp around herself as to not stand out under the cloak. That said when she arrived the first fight had already started. Remaining standing not really in the planks but in the small paths in between them, she watched from there, intrigued to see what happened next.

Arena Olypmus As he was still confused by all the chaos going on he heard a girl's voice shout out to him informing him that there's no party just a fight as he immediately turned to indentify the source of the voice. Just as he turned to face the direction of the voice a hulksih looking man entered the arena clearly out for blood, while Marius was usually taller then most even he was dwarfed by this brute. Marius simply ignored all his attempts to "communicate" and instead was focused on the young lady, with what seemed like perfect timing Marius moved in the direction of dido just as the brute threw his punch making him miss and hit the ground. The young girl that called out to him was pretty good looking so as far he was concerned a hole army could be after him right now, he would still ignore them and go talk to the girl, that's just how he always was a complete air head and womanizer. "thank you for telling me what is going on, but i have no interest in things such as brawling... on the other if we were talking about going for a drink with such a beautiful as yourself then i would be more then interested" marius replied with a bright smile to the girl ignoring the crowd that just started booing and throwing all sorts of crap into the arena along with brute that was still behind him. He was absurdly cheerful and happy despite the fact that a mindless brute who wanted to pulverize him was only a few meters behind him and currently pretty much all of athens was booing him, he simply didn't care.

Gamma fell was falling out of the sky, how he'd gotten there? probably one of his crazy inventions. He hadn't opened his wings because this invention was one he worked on as if his butt was on fire, and as such he hadn't eaten in days, like he usually does when he's obsessed with something. He was too weak from hunger to even so much as open his wings. He tried to remember what he was doing, his mind was foggy from the hunger now. He remembered small bits and pieces. What was he working on? Why and How the hell was he falling from the sky?.............. Then it hit him. He was trying to make something that would let normal people fly. He had finally finished his crazy contraption and decided to take it out for a test drive. The thing malfunctioned and exploded while in the air. He managed to jump out before it did, but was knocked out by the force of the blast, and this was why he couldn't remember, coupled with him not eating for a few days. "Well, back to the drawing board" He said to himself, a little smile on his face. *Thud* He landed on something soft. He was still alive so he figured it must have cushioned his fall. He had landed on two people that happened to be right in the path of his fall. (Rin, this be you)

Dido relaxed in her seat, watching the fight... or that was how it should have been. Instead, the crowd was swarming around, people picking fights with each other. Two men next to her started arguing because of the seat; one loudly accused the other of stealing his spot; the surrounding crowd quickly started taking sides and soon first blows were exchanged. Dido didn't pay attention though, since she was talking to the guy in the arena. As a result, someone in the brawling group managed to elbow the apple out of her hand while hitting her on the stomach just as she was about to reply. She was surprised by the way Marius was treating his opponent; a faint aurora borealis materialized above her head yet again, though it was almost invisible, it being a day. But she was a cheerful individual herself, so she didn't hate such an attitude in others, even though it did seem somewhat reckless in these circumstances. When she got hit by the random citizen, she folded in two because of the unexpectedness of the attack. Only then did she noticed the brawl that broke out around her. She was determined to let it slide, it obviously wasn't on purpose, but then someone stepped on her foot, another person tripped on her dress and slowly, the brawlers started noticing her, the attacks on her person becoming more and more focused. By then, she was already guarding against some hits and dodging the others, but there wasn't enough space. She could fight dirty, and she often did, but there were too many of them, and she wanted to watch the fight... well what was supposed to be a fight. This pointless commotion on the planks was starting to irk her. "Would you people CUT IT OUT!" she shouted. Suddenly a gust of wind swirled around her and exploded outwards, pushing people some 2 metres away from her. Surprisingly, someone was also right above her, practically already in the process of landing on her; the wind pushed him aside before he could really land though, and he was now falling towards the arena. "Oh? Where did HE come from..." Dido mumbled mostly for herself, the aurora on the sky shining a bit more brightly. Some people might actually notice it by now. Anyway... where was she? Oh right, the "fight" in the arena. She nonchalantly moved to the railing, ignoring the people that were fighting around her until a moment ago, and rested her elbows on it. "Don't you first have to get rid of that guy?" she pointed to the giant behind Marius, grinning widely. |

Aren Olypmus Despite the crowd throwing anything they could get there hands on at him, Marius stood there passively but never got hit even once, every single "projectile" simply missed him was knocked of course or prevented from being thrown by some weird unexpected circumstance, the arena floor now looking more like a pigs pen exept one spot where marius was staying which was clean. Due to dido's wind that altered his fall, gamma was set on a direct crashing course with the brute, this course would also avoid crashing into marius. When the girl pointed behind him Marius turned to look around, he actually completely forgot about the brutes existance, just as he turned around again with seemingly perfected timing a piece of wood broken from the arena seating flew past his head just barely missing him. "Don't think so" smiled faust, ignoring the brute who was getting hit by fruit as he turned back towards the girl again spotting 2 people fighting by the rails of the arena, one of them actually hanging dangerously over the rail. Marius ran towards the arena wall then used it as a jumping ramp to grab on to the fighter which was dangling over the rail and used him to climb up into the audiance, due to marius using them as a ladder those 2 ruffians managed to end up falling into the arena bellow. "The name's Marius , a pleasure to meet you miss" he greeted politely walking up to the girl with whit his cheerful attitude.

| The Demonic | Spoiler Gamma was completely redirected, right before crashing onto a girl, due to a huge gust of wind, this redirected him directly at a giant brutish man that was standing.... wait, was this the arena? He had finally got over his daze thanks to the wind, and gained a sudden adrenalin rush from being suddenly sent hurling at a big brute at who knows how fast he was going by now. The adrenalin was enough to jump start his powers, causing him to momentarily transform, Right before ramming the mountain man directly in the noggin. Thanks to his powers activation, he barely suffered any recoil damage, while the brute would probably feel like he just got hit in the head with a man-meteor, due to the speed he was going + his powers. The brute landed hard on the ground, probably unconscious from suddenly being hit with a random person who fell from the sky. Gamma himself landed on his back, a little short of the man's head, his powers had turned off right after the split second where he hit the guy. As the Crows were throwing fruit, he rapidly grabbed and inhaled lots of them in quick succession. Once he had eaten as much as he needed(few secs tops), he looked around and saw chaos, This was the arena alright, but the place honestly looked worse than a spartan skirmish, less dignified too. He also noted two people that weren't fighting and made to walk over to them

"I'm not fit to participate nor watch, and I also have no will for either. I am doing well avoiding it, for I'm sure I would do a stupid thing if I showed up." Her wings flinched inside of her clothing. She could probably fly there in less than five minutes if she wanted to. It was painful to resist doing so just to scorn all of the... citizens. It would be possible to overthrow the leader. But no one wanted to, not that much. He wasn't... bad, per say. His beliefs were his own. They were just wrong, pointless, and agressive. "And what about you, sir?" Aurora walked around the temple, checking the various candles at the various shrines of the temple. Even if it was a temple for all the same gods, they still had their own little section.

Rexxar has finally arrived in the arena where the games would take place. He was used to fight there since the spartans were using it quite often to fight. This was their way to solve their problems afterall. The arena was always lively with the other Spartan soldiers cheering for their favorite or making bets for the winner. But this was not the case this time. The moral of the Spartan soldiers was still low and it seemed that they lost confidence in their ability to fight. When king Demos arrived he sat on his throne and officialy started the games. The first battle would be between Rexxar and Simeon, the kings right hand. Rexxar has sparred with Simeon many times in the past but always came up short against him. After the matchup was announced Rexxar was burning with passion. This was the best place to defeat him, infront of all the Spartan soldiers. "I should have brought Misha with me, but then again that wouldn't be a fair fight" he thought. Both Rexxar and Simeon stepped into the arena. They first bowed to king Demos and the to each other. "Simeon, my dear friend, today I shall defeat you. Don't hold back" he told to his opponent. When king Demos started the match Rexxar made a roar that would scare even wild beasts and summoned 2 jaguars and 2 wolfs using his sword to attack Simeon. Then he carefully dashed towards him in an attemt to slash through his belly while he was busy dealing with Rexxar's beasts.

"Just Therios. I am no lord." Therios started after the girl finished. "I don't want to go watch either let alone participate but some of the participants are guards under my employ so I feel obliged to attend these so-called "games". Though I have no intention of being on time." He continued seriously. He wasn't just their boss. He knew each of those guards and not just their names. He knew their current problems and their past. He had met most of their families, their wives, lovers and children. And now for one stupid idea they'd risk their lives. He tried to know as much as possible about each of his employees, particularly his guards. This had been because of one of his first trade endeavors. He had left Olympus with several wagons filled with goods and brought along guards. One night they were ambushed by bandits. The battle was fierce but ended after only a few minutes. When it was over he saw that most his guards lay dead. He saw their faces and realized that he had sent men he knew nothing about to their death. To make it worse from what he heard from one of the surviving guards was that the one of the guards had betrayed them and coöperated with the bandits. Since then he researched everyone he hired and got to know them. "I'm afraid I might do something stupid too when I get there." He continued with a slight grin though hit wasn't just a joke. He knew it was true. Then he realized that he had been rude. "You know my name but I have totally forgotten to inquire about yours, miss...?" He asked her quickly. He had been surprised that after coming here so often he had never thought to ask her her name.
