so the other day I was doing some maintenance on my laptop when I noticed Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adapter was listed under my Network Adapters, long story short I had been having issues with my Wifi connection and for the life of me I just could not figure out what the issue was...
Uninstalled Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adapter and Wallah! Success!
Everything is running great again...

anyone else had this issue?

I don't even know wtf that is... I thought this was a product announcement thread

Probably the inbuilt windows driver for your wifi adapter was having conflicts with the provided one you had installed

Prod, was this issue making it so that your Wifi could see the network but not able to connect?

If so then that might answer my issue...
