Coby - Character Discussion

Anyone else get the feeling Coby has some major part to play in the future? The incident with him freaking out in the great war suggests there's something awesome lurking in that pink haired sissy. All that "hearing the voices disappear".
I can't wait to see him re appear. Yet his name is rarely mentioned anywhere.

coby and smoker are the only 2 marines i see that are important in future

well he appeared in first episode.. developed dramatically from then.. luffy is his biggest friend and foe.. after kizaru, akainu, smoker, tashigi he is next in line to have big part as marine..

This is old news son. Coby is to become Luffys what Garp was to Rodger. He will also become head of the WG and transform the culture that resides there.

if you consider that during the time luffy left him and found him again, which was really short, he developed soru i'd say that in 2 years he probably has a crazy growth. wouldn't be surprised if he can use all of the cp9 techniques and haki to some degree now

in marine ford coby was like "luffy san lets make this a memorable fight we will remember for a long tim.....*falcon punch* ....."

yeah but coby awakened observation haki.. and probably mastered it pretty well.. also he knew soru that cp9 uses.. maybe he like ProDeathblow said knows all moves by now..

We're all aware he's going to play a big role in the future, it's why we never mention him. He just doesn't have anything to do with the most recent arcs or anything.

How so? It's been a couple of years, he developed quite a lot while under Garp for the first few months. He wouldn't be overpowered either; Luffy beat Lucci, who mastered all Rokushiki (including Rokuougan), years ago and got much more powerful since.
