Zafis seeing Magmortar faint made him really happy. It was the first pokemon he defeated. But his Lapras was in no good condition either. After that he saw Vlam taking out his third pokemon it was a Floatzel. But Zafis new that if he removed Lapras now he would not be able to use him for the rest of the combat due to Stealth Rock. "Floatzel is coming close Lapras hit him with Thunderbolt" he said to his pokemon. Floatzel managed to hit Lapras and at the same time Lapras used Thunderbolt to hit Floatzel. But after the attack Lapras fainted. "You did good Lapras. Charmeleon you are next". zafis new that charmeleon was not the best choice to fight against Floatzel but he had no choice.

Floatzel was hit by Thunderbolt when he attacked Lapras. This attack delt a lot of damage but at least Floatzel was able to make Lapras faint. After that he saw Zafis third pokemon Charmeleon being hit by Stealth Rock when it entered the battle. "I am close to my first victory. I should not mess this up now." he thought and quickly commanded his pokemon "Use Rain Dance Floatzel". He thought that it was better to use Rain Dance first since Floatzel becomes quicker in rain and fire type moves lose their power.

Zafis saw Vlam's Floatzel performing Rain Dance and started thinking what his next move should be. "It seems i will be unable to use Charmeleon's fire attacks now. I know what i will use. He will never see it coming."he thought. "Charmeleon use Hidden Power" he commanded to his pokemon. "This is going to hurt since Charmeleons Hidden Power type is Electric. Vlam would have never expected it." he muttered while having a big smile on his face.

Also Floatzel was badly hurt from the previous battles and was not able to move away so he took the attack and fainted. Vlam almost thought that he lost until he remembered that he also had Miltank. "Yes I have won my first pokemon battle" he yelled as hard as he could. After winning the battle he went to shake hands Zafis. "I will always remember this battle. You fought well you dont have to be sad. Anyway I hope we meet again soon and have our rematch". After leaving Zafis Vlam headed to the pokemon center to heal his pokemon and then headed towards route 1

Zafis was so sad seeing his Electivire falling on the ground exhausted. At least it was able to defeat Vlam's Floatzel with its final attack but it was not enough since Vlam had his Miltank left. After the battle ended Vlam was so happy about his victory and came to shake hands. "I will always remember this battle too and when I fight you again I am going to beat you" he responded to Vlam while seeing him off. Zafis was a little sad that his pokemon career started with a loss but he was so happy that he started his adventure that he instantly forgot about it. After visiting the pokemon center and had his pokemon healed Zafis started heading towards route 1.

Phycho Cut went straight through the counter and at the Colbat, however this caused Gallade to get hit straight on by the confuse ray. Seeing that his opponent was gearing up to attack. Phycho Cut Gallade Ryu orded.
Gallade broke out of the confusionand attacked the Crobat with phycho Cut. Gallade follow up with Stone edge Ryu then yelled. They would not give the Crobat a chance.

Crobat fell defeated by the two attacks and fell to the ground. "Tch." Taco Lord got angry at his pokemon's own weakness and stormed off. "return." he said in a moody tone as the crobat disappeared. "You got lucky." he declared with out even turning around. Taco lord was marching at a frightening pace, and had wondered off and disappeared from site before giving him a chance to respond.

Vlam finally got his pokemon healed at the pokemon center. All of them were exhausted after his first battle but they were fine now. It seems he had still much to learn about how to be a good pokemon trainer. After leaving the pokemon center Vlam decided to make a quick visit in the poke-mart since he remembered that he had no pokeballs with him. When he finally finished his preparations and left Dawn Town he saw a sign at the road. "Route 1". It was now official. His adventure has just began...

Danny was defeated... again. The 'weight' of disappointment caused him to fall to his knees. His Zoroark, just before fainting, turned back and looked him in a way that literally pierced his heart.

But no! He would not give up. Danny was the master of disguise. A few pokemon battles would not be hard. It was simply a bad start. Yes, that what it was. Danny retreated back to the Pokemon Center and healed his two pokemon before advancing once again to Route 1. This time, he wore a black shirt and black jeans. A red cap worn on his head. In the distance, he saw another pokemon trainer (Ryubos).

"You! Yes.... you!" He pointed. "Battle me!" He confidently exclaimed before launching one of his pokeballs, revealing a Hitmonlee. Something didn't feel right about that pokemon, like a dark aura was surrounding it. Though that might be its killing intent.
