Papaya shook Epideskios hand when it was offered. He might have thought he was better than everyone else, but that didn't mean he was impolite to them. They were his brothers in arms after all. It wasn't short after that his two teammates arrived to join in the fight. Almost immediately, and to Papaya's surprise, the two instantly pointed out an enemy from the opposite side to battle against one on one. The bloodlust that was emenating from Edana was palpable. Papaya did not know much about her, but this was a red flag for him. Edana was a little too bloodthirsty, especially given the fact they were fighting against fellow Spartans. His decision was to stay away from her; Papaya had met some bloodthirsty enemies in the past, they would attack anything and everything that got in their way. Victoria, while sounding a bit sadistic, didn't see to have the blood lust that Edana did, so she didn't pose much of a threat to him.

The choices by his two allies left Papaya with Gen Kuro as his enemy. Another warrior he was unfamiliar with, but he would still lose to Papaya. Holding his shield up in a defensive position and tightly gripping his sword, he called out to Gen.

"Come, Gen. Let's put on a grand fight for all to see!"

Papaya made a beckoning motion with his shield and stood his ground, hoping that Gen would attack first. Papaya would easily counter the attack and end the battle quickly. A show of his greatness that would make all the audience idolize him.

After the others picked who they wanted to fight, Gen was given the foe of Papaya. "Alight then, you others should take your foes out with style, our "team should not look bad" Gen said with a smile. Then to his delight, Papaya called him out. It seems that he was sure he would easily take Gen out. He smiled, This will be fun. He was sure no one really new much about how he fought since he got his new found powers. "if that is how you want to do it." Gen said as he readied his blade.

He knew that he was expecting him to go with a straight out attack,it was how most of the others did it. And with him appearing as a sword user, it was to be expected. But Gen was a master of trickery, He would do just that but with his own twist. "For glory!" He yelled as he races to get closer to his foe. But as he was doing this, his bladed to pulse as well as his armor. Moving his arm down to show he would try and swing, Gen only smiled.

As they flew, the arena disappeared from sight, so Dido couldn't tell how the situation turned out in the end. Marius continued throwing various complimentary remarks around; she learnt to not react verbally to most of them, or they would never get anywhere in the conversation. She did appreciate his resourcefulness in picking up the gold though; it's what she'd have done if she noticed it and wasn't in the middle of running for her life. "Oh, nice job," she grinned. Then she continued to return the teasing: "Well you know, we don't know each other long, or well, enough to be a couple."This reply was meant for Marius, as well as the messenger who picked up the hint too. Hearing the next compliment, she giggled a bit and paid back in kind: "Why thanks, you don't look so bad yourself."

Since everyone agreed on the location, the inventor, ...Gamma was it, set them down in front of one and left with referring them to his lab should they wish to meet him. Dido shook her head a bit unconsciously; how were they supposed to visit if he didn't tell them where it was? But oh well, they would surely meet again sooner or later, Olympus wasn't that big. She then turned her eyes to the tavern. The house of Dionysus. Raindrops rolled down the golden statue, making it look as if it was crying. Dido lowered her head a bit, it was making her depressed just looking at it. The rain got stronger, drenching her already wet dress completely and making it stick to her shivering body. It also revealed the outline of the sword hidden underneath. "Let's hurry in, I'm freezing," she said, trying to sound as cheerful as always, and moved towards the door, attempting to un-stick the cloth of her skirt from the sword to hide it again; unfortunately with very little effect.

After she entered, the place was crowded. She almost began to fear there was no place at all, but then she noticed a small table in the corner. She sped up and assertively moved through the crowd to get to it; she wasn't willing to surrender the spot to anyone. As she passed by one of the waitresses, she tapped her on the shoulder and ordered a pitcher of hot mulled wine, not even waiting for the others. She figured they can order for themselves later, and she was in dire need of a hot beverage. Finally reaching the table, she moved in to heavily plop down on a chair in the corner that would allow her to watch the whole tavern while having the back covered.

The vistitors had left. A centuar, one of her friends and constant visitors, an old man. ... Well, tonight was certainly busy. And from the sound of the doors opening, she could say she would have one more. Turning to greet them...

It was clear they weren't here to pray. Just to get out of the rain. Well... She still had to take care of them. Aurora greeted them then left to get them something to dry off with.

Gamma entered when she was fussing with a kid's hair. Greeting the new person, she thought for a moment before answering. "No definitive clues, but people are becoming more interested. If something happens to furthur this incident, there should be those who wish to correct it."

A calming voice, unsure of the present, but certain of the future.

The priestess of the temple, who seemed to be fussing with a child's hair, took a moment, then answered his question. "sigh, i though so. Well, thank you for your time anyway, i hope those, Gods decide to return soon, or at least tell us what in hades is going on." He said the second part mostly to himself.

He then walked over to the children, and pulled a few things out of a pouch he was carrying. What he pulled out were some mini-robot toys he'd made for the children. He gave one to each, then walked over to the gates "I'll be back again to see if there is any new" and with that, he left. The doors closing shut behind him.

He then took flight...... and after a little gliding, remembered he was running on only a few random fruit, and decided to go back to the tavern. He figured they'd have some kind of edible things in there. After a quick flight, he landed at the tavern, retracted his wings this time, and walked in. By now, he was completely drenched, but hunger came first. Inside, he wasthere was barely any place left, but also managed to spot the non-crazy people from before... Marius, Dido and... did that other guy even GIVE a name? He walked over to a waitress first, to order something to eat and drink, then walked over to the three 'wet idiots' as they looked like

"Ehhhh! but doesn't that just make it more interesting" he replied to elpida just as the inventor was landing before adding with a joking tone " if you keep that up you'll make me blush".

As they were looking around and getting ready to enter the tavern the one who brought them here suddenly left "well that was unexpected,thought he was going to join us".

As the rain started pouring down the other were starting to get soaked but marius was almost perfectly dry, thanks to his position he used gamma as an umbrela of sorts shielding him from the rain though he quite enjoyed the sight of the soaked elpida You look even better that way, don't worry about it" complimented again marius as a half joke before following the others inside.

Once inside Dido quickly found a spot along with ordering some wine and marius quickly followed suit but with a small pit stop to flirt with the waitress, despite already having a beautiful girl near him he just couldn't stop himself from flirting with other woman, his self-restraint was non-existant.

After a few drinks and some more small talk between them Marius decided to liven up the place, Marius suddenly stood up and shouted "Hey people this is a party let's act like one", without waiting for anyone to reply or even process what he just said he started singing even though there was no music.
"In heaven the cooks are French, the police are British, the mechanics are German, the lovers are Italian and everything is organized by the Swiss"
Taking a few seconds pause to catch his breath before carrying on while also reaching for the messenger trying to get him to sing along.

Marius was average some might even say good at singing but everyone found this song strange, even marius himself, the song had just popped into his head one time and it stuck but he has no idea where it is from. This song was infact the incantation for his bad luck curse that's why everyone found it so "catchy" despite making no sense.

Then she asked him a surprising question. Most people just assumed he was a centaur, a thought he had never tried to correct and the rest didn't dare to ask.

"Hmmm..." He had to think on how to answer that. Technically right now he was a centaur and yet he was not a centaur. "Right now I am one but I am not a real centaur. I mean I wasn't born as one. He doubted she'd truly understand everything he said but to make her fully understand he'd have to tell her about his past and his ability and only a few knew of his ability and no one knew his past. Therios could've lied but he wanted to answer such an honest question with an honest answer for few people dared ask such things so directly.

Now that he thought about it he had forgotten to introduce himself after being faced with her question.
"Sorry for the late introduction. You can call me Therios." He said with a bow. "And what may I call you?" He asked with a smile.

Arcantas tilted her head a bit trying to actually make sense out of his words, but she didn't quite make it other than, he was human, but not anymore, and from what it seemed for a long time, longer than this Olympus incident. In a way, she was disappointed, she wished for another nonhuman, so knowing he was once human was a good thing. On the other hand, he wasn't one for quite some time.

Suddenly he introduces himself as Therios, which also reminds her she just asked a complete stranger a rather blunt question "Ah...A-Arcantas. You may call me Arcantas." she answered while turning her head as hide her already hidden embarrassment, damn that bow, damn that smile. And those muscles~~<3 'Wait! Focus!' thinking for a sec to think of away to escape this awkward position.

"I-I have a bakery XXX from here. You could pass by there later if you want. I could repay you for this incident!" she bowed while spiting out the words 'stupid! that was not intended!' she thought

She watched behind the railings as the dragon girl tore apart Gigantus' lower jaw. Blood splattering everywhere at the base of the arena. The arena itself was damaged to the point of being unrecognizable. The dragon girl then flew away, leaving Selene alone on the stands and the heap of bloodied giant in the middle of the arena. It was raining. The blood started to be washed away from the stone tiles.

The rain dripped from Selene's hair and face. She jumped over the railing and slowly walked over to Gigantus. The amount of blood he lost would have killed an ordinary human being in seconds but this monster was still twitching. He's useless now and can not be saved. Reaching behind under her cloak, Selene unsheathed the two ornate short swords strapped to her back and in one fell swoop, stabs Gigantus precisely in between his left second and third rib, hitting his heart. As fast as she stabbed him, as fast as she withdrew the blade, flicking her arm so that the blood flies off from the blade and the rain wash it away before she sheathed them back.

Selene then places two gold coins over Gigantus' eyes. "May you have a peaceful journey in the underworld." She pulls her hood over her head and leaves the arena. The cold biting rain has made her thirsty for some wine.

The streets of Olympus were now empty. The downpour has made the citizens take shelter inside their houses. Except for the homeless beggars who remained slump over any cover they could find. Even if they were on Olympus now, there was still poverty. The only thing different about living in Olympus from that of living in Athens, is that here in Olympus; you lose a part of your humanity by gaining god like powers. And with that loss of humanity, they become corrupt like Themistoklis.

She was at the door of the Tavern- Dionysus' former home. It suddenly opens and the sound of song and laughter echo to the outside. A man, whos seemed to be too drunk to walk, was being assisted by two of his companions. They smiled at Selene as they passed her to which she returned a nod and a smile. This place makes you forget everything with the taste of wine and good food. It was a good place to relax, recuperate and boost morale. She will see a lot of her comrades in this place. Upon entering, she removes her cloak and hung it by the side of her arm, her long blonde hair, still wet and dripping from the rain, hung loosely pass her shoulder to her chest.

She looked around the tavern, the gold walls made everything bright and warm. Waitresses greeted her as they held their platters to serve the many patrons. They knew of her of course. Selene was also a regular here. She would have to greet Menos later and pay her respects.

Looking around more she saw what she was looking for by a small table in the corner. She approached the people there, one of them dancing and singing a non-sensical catchy tune. Sitting with her back against the wall was Elpida, one of the city gate guards.

When she was a few steps away, near enough for the two people at the table to take notice of her, Selene orders from the waitress a pitcher of warm wine and a platter of roasted chicken. She then proceeds to stand by the table and addressed Elpida.

"Do you have space for one more Elpida? you seem to have met a rather amusing fellow. I hope you don't mind that the next couple of rounds shall be on me?" she smiled and winked.

As a ranger, Selene was paid a larger sum than ordinary ranks in the army. She wasnt particularly interested in jewelry or clothes, so when she had money to spend, she splurges it by treating her comrades.

What? repay her for this? wow, first time in a very long time, like since her childhood, where she's met someone this kind, taking a deep breath to calm herself 'cmon woman, don't let some nice man put you this frustrated.' "I'm fine, there's no need for you to repay anything. Meeting such a kind person is enough of a payment for me." taking a pause to look at his face a little better she continues "I wouldn't know what to ask either way. So it's fine." Yeah, it seemed Arcantas was finally catching her calm and starting to get some composure. "But I would be very happy if you would pay me a visit some day." that way, if he still insisted in giving her something, she could think of something.

A straight forward attack, just as Papaya had expected. It would be simple enough to counter the attack after all. Papaya held his shield up above him as he moved forward. The shield would easily block the downward swipe of the sword, Papaya thought. Now it was just a matter of attacking back at the same time. With the Sword in his free hand, he thrust it forward towards Gen's stomach. Even if the Sword didn't pierce through Gen's armor, it would still deal some minor damage through the force of it.

The battle between the warriors Rexxar and Simeon continued just as furiously as it always had between the two, even before they had received their god weapons. In some sense they saw each other as rivals and never missed the chance to against each other in one form of challenge or another, though most of the time it was Simeon who ended up coming out the victor. Even among the elite men that served her father, Simeon could be considered an elite of the elite.

But just as Simeon was about to deliver the winning blow, and as Victoria was hoping for a response from her father, something quite unexpected and shocking happened. Some warrior unknown to Victoria, maybe he was new or just plainly unimportant, jumped into the arena like a fool out right interfering with The battle of the two honorable warriors and even attempting to attack Misha, Rexxars bear whom Victoria had come to treat as her pet time to time whenever the bear was around. Simeon effortlessly protected the bear thankfully but the foolishly warrior would not be so lucky as the bear. His actions were almost on the same line as desertion, he had stripped himself of any standing he once might have held and even worse he had angered Demos, her father was the last man you ever wanted to anger. Of course it wasn't only her father that was pissed Victoria herself was boiling with rage at the events and she could even hear if not out right feel the tension from the warriors behind her. It was not only Demos's warrior side that felt outrage it was also the side of him that was a King, and he could not would not accept this insolence. Leaving his thrown and moving out into the Arena, he spoke to the warrior telling him how he should say his prays and that he should at least die with even a fraction of dignity, and with one lightning quick swing of his sword the warriors head came clean off.

Demos turned, with the severed head in his hand, and spoke to the people in the stands, and to his men, and with the Kings words of Glory and Conquest a loud uproar of cheers and weapons banging agasint each other or on the ground flooded the arena, Victoria cheered on as well she could feel the Spartan pride radiating from her father as she guessed the warriors could as well as they cheered on the King the loudest. With the speech and noise flooding the arena Victoria almost forgot about her desire to join in this competition, but even so the words her father spoke came to a surprise to her, even if she was secretly hoping for them. He even announced it for all the arena to hear, the next set of battles would be a three vs three with the conditions decided by the participants and the first person he named to take part in this battle was Victoria herself. Excitement filled Victoria but she would not let it show, she was a Spartan after all she needed to keep herself from acting a fool, though it was hard especially to kept the seemingly titan powered smile down, she hide it best she could though. She still felt someone shocked however, was it because they were about to go to war that her father had given in, she had wrestled with many of the soldiers before and even competed agasint them in many other events but as for a true battle of steel not once had Demos allowed her to compete, even if she did get sparring lessons time to time. Either way an eager child is an eager child and they don't tend to think deeply about things for to long before they start taking action.

Other than Victoria 5 other people had been named. Edana, the woman that had came down from the roof and talked her Victoria and her father, and Papaya a man that, from spread of gossip, Victoira and quite a few other girls found quite creepy would be on her team. The other team would consist of Derek Spark a man that she has overheard many women speak quite badly about, Epideksios whom Victoria really never spent much time around mainly because of his insistent horrible singing, and the last warrior Gen Kuro was another one she really didn't know, its not like she knew all the warriors after all.

As Demos returned to his thrown, looking at his daughter, but more intently at Edana before he sat, Victoria Stood, and slide the strap of the sheath of her sword over her shoulder. Victoria stood firmly she would enter the arena cool headed and ready for combat like any true Spartan should. Taking one last look at her father as she then turned to face the arena and move forward she her Edana approach and speak to her from behind, commenting on how they would "play with these little boys". As Edana moved onward into the arena Victoria was not to far behind, but unlike Edana who had walked right up to the other person in their group and then openly challenged Derek on the other side, Victoria was suddenly halted. Though not by her father or any warrior, Misha the battle hardened bear which struck fear into the hearts of those that became its enemy had charged up to Victoira and started to furiously lick her in the face. Rexxar wasn't really found of it, but with the time she spent with the bear she had sorta tamed it, though it defiantly didn't act like this around others. Scratching the bear behind the ears and telling her to go back to her master, Victoria now walked up to Edana and Papaya and faced towards the opposing team.

Edana had already made her challenge towards Derek, and Victoria could see almost an aura of pure blood lust coming off of Edana, did those two have some bad blood between them? she didn't know. Looking a the other two warriors on the other team, there was Epideksios and that other warrior Gen something that she was not to familiar with. With the fact that even subconsciously children always felt more comfortable with people they knew, Victoria was a little reluctant in her decision. Drawing her sword, Victoria pointed it straight at Epideksios, and with a voice for the stadium to hear Victoria said, "I shall take on the singing fool". Some laughter could be heard place to place around the arena for Epideksios was sorta famous for his horrible singing. Victoria was brimming with confidence and her expression was highly determined if not somewhat sadistic.

"Fool? You are too young to appreciate true art!"
Epideksios was not phased by Victoria's words at all. You may have the first move, little one," he said while taking up a defensive stance. Standing to where the sun would be shining in Victoria's eyes, Epideksios was using his skills at pankration to his advantage. He was extremely agile, and Epideksios was wholeheartedly confident in being able to fully dodge Victoria's attack, but he'd make sure Victoria would at least nick him in a non-vital area. Just to make sure Victoria would make the first move, he began singing, Let's get down to business, to defeat Athens!" With the next line, he pointed at Victoria in a mocking manner, "Did the send me daughters, when I asked for sons?" A huge burst of laughter erupted from the crowds, even from those afraid of Victoria.
