Scraggy was pushed back by the tackle and seemed to have notable damage done to it. "Scraggy.. are you alright?" It nodded in agreement and faced the Patrat once more. "Scraggy, use leer and then charge it with a Headbutt!"

The Scraggy attacked with a Drain Punch again as Patrat attacked, although the tackle did damage Patrat was now very injured and was close to fainting. A tad dissy from the collision he failed to see the leer or the headbutt that took him down.

come back Patrat Lilly ordered, unsurprised that they had lost.

your a good trainer, well done. lilly said as she paid the boy and headed of to heal.

As Shinji continued to cycle down Route 4 another cyclist approached him and began to ride side-by-side. She asked if Shinji would like to battle, he agreed. They both stopped and prepared for battle.

Hyde's newly obtained Scraggy proved to be a great asset to his team. It defeated both of the trainer's Pokemon. "Great job, now return." Hyde was feeling accomplished. He had just caught his first wild Pokemon, and now he just defeated his first Trainer battle. He wander around Route 1 more. He had passed the exit to Route 2 plenty of times, but he wanted to explore as much as possible. He didn't want to miss out on one little thing. After exploring around, he comes across another item. It appears to be a TM. Upon further inspection, it is revealed to be TM 03, which contains the move Psyshock. "This move.. it could be useful for the Ralts I caught, I'll teach it to it." So Hyde taughgt Ralts Psyshock, and the TM disappeared. Taking only a few more steps, he see's a Pokemon dart out of the grass and face him. Taking out his Pokedex, he founds out this Pokemon is a Bidoof, it seems rather angry. "Hmm, well lets test out my remaining member then!" Hyde grabbed the Pokeball with Ralts and threw it on the ground. Ralts popped out and looked around. Seeing the angry Bidoof startled it, but it shook it off quickly. "Alright, lets see how useful that TM was. Ralts, Psyshock!"

As Ryu reached the end of the path and the beginnings of the Mt Zero cave his coat began to shake. Stopping he reached in side and removed the two eggs that he had obtained in route one. They were both covered in cracks and shaking. As he held them up the cracks grew and in less than a second the tops of both of the eggs fell away.
In his left hand stood a Shinx, in his right a strange blue pokemon he had never seen before.
smiling the two of them entered their pokeballs at his waist, while his pokedex beeped, in forming him that it had recorded the two new pokemon.
taking it out he saw that the blue pokemon was called a Phione.

Phione, the Sea Drifter Pokémon. Phione lives in warm oceans. It inflates the flotation sac on its head allowing it to float on the waves and look for food.

cool, Ryu muttered and headed in to the cave.

Mary sent out Pikachu and prepared for attack when the other trainer sent out his pokemon.

The cyclist sent out a Pikachu, Shinji sent out Gible. "Sanstorm" he said, he Gible waved his hands around and created a sandstorm. "Dragon Rage", Gible shot a Dragon Rage towards the presumably blinded Pikachu.

As the gible started up a sand storm, pikachu panicked and ran around till it hit a rock and snapped out of it, also coincidentally managing to dodge dragon rage. Pikachu then caught a glimpse of gible through the sandstorm and used Quick Attack.

Gible's Dragon Rage missed, it then saw Pikachu run towards him at great speed. Gible jumped to the side, thanks to the Sandstorm it would have been harder for Pikachu to see him, this allowed him to just managed to get out of the way. "Take Down" Shinji shouted, he couldn't see much through the sandstorm either. Gible charged at the Pikachu from behind, dodging would be difficult.

PIkachu was hit from behind by take down, it started using bide.

The attack landed and the Pikachu started to use Bide. "Take Down again" Shinji shouted, Gible charged at Pikachu again from close range.
