Synopsis
Jiang Xiao Hua is a funny girl that dresses bad and runs her family's accessories store. When fatty Jia Si Le returns from Japan, he surprises everyone with his lean and thin body. As Si Le asks Xiao Hua out, he also comments her style as a "Christmas Tree". Token offensively, Xiao Hua seeks for some help to change her bad style. She meets Tang Men a stylist, who had dropped his expensive, rare scissor in the cab he was sharing with Xiao Hua. Not agreeing to help Xiao Hua, she uses the scissor as a threat, announcing that she will break them if Tang Men does not agree to help her. On the other hand, Jiang Mi is the arranged fiancée of Jia Si Le, angry that Jia Si La is in love with Xiao Hua, she uses Tang Men to distract Xiao Hua while she tries to get close with Si Le. Man I already love this :'DD This definitely is a drama that makes you laugh until your stomach hurts XDD

The chara of Rainie in this one has to be the tackiest chara I've seen so far XDD

This is a pretty 'old' one. Watched it ages ago when it was airing. Was alright but not exceptionally good (in fact, I'd forgotten the story, might just re-watch it again sometime soon)..... and of course, anything that has the cutie Wilbur Pan in it is worth the oggle! .... add Dean Fujioka in the mix.... it's a very very hot pot! *salivates*

I know what you mean! I am not sure about the lenses but I am sure he needs to ease up on the eyeliner - what's with drawing the full lines around his eyes!! Most artists now gets by with just a partial line, drawing full around the eye is so... 80s! Maybe he tatooed it many years ago when it was the 'thing' to do, which explains why he can't get rid of it now. LOL

Despite his rather interesting taste with makeup, Dean is still good looking. Yes, I will group him in my 'hotties' basket.

One thing I admire Dean for is his ability to speak fluent (and I really mean it, FLUENT) mandarin. I like artists who put in the effort to learn mandarin because I am the foreigner who learned mandarin and I know how hard it can be to ace that particular language. I have been following Dean at his personal blog for 3 years now....I think I'll go in and drop him a PM to encourage him in his next endeavours. Haven't dropped in and say hi to Dean for ages now. Bad me!

On another note, one of Kingone and Dean's collaboration in 2006 - a drama called "Goku Dou High School". It's scifi with action and high school theme. Minimal romance. Maybe not your cup of tea if you are not into Asian scifi with some wuxia stuffs in it. I'm ok with it since I am also a wuxia and anime fan. My preferences are varied. LOL

I finished it because I was totally slacking this weekend. Best thing about it? Wilber Pan. Worst thing about it? Everything else. LOL I don't know how I did that. Rainie's character had to be the worst sounding thing ever. Nails on a chalkboard sounding.

I did like the twist on the characters ... well, I won't give it away. You'll know it when you hit it. Liked that part.
