gold farming isnt fun either : /

i cant get play act 2 inferno without dying every 5 secs. so i need better gear and i dont get better gear. in act 1 you get good gear for hell act 4 so i would need to actually play in act 3 to be able to play without dying in act 2 : /

not to mention that i have to pay a hugh amount for repairs for dying that much

I kind of have a similar problem, kind of. Just got to 60 a couple days ago with my sorceress and my dps is decent, I farmed act 3 hell a bit and spent some cash on a decent weapon and also found some decent gear as well. ended up running several games where there were 3 of 4 level 60's in the farm group and with the valor buff we were getting a lot of golds. most crappy but some decent that proved to be upgrades. My damage is above the 21000 mark and my life is decent, trash in inferno has nothing on me. The elites however are another story entirely.

Tried running some grouped runs of act 1 inferno and some of the elites I could do ok on but a lot of them used mortar or arcane lasers or plague on the ground packed in tight places and those AE spells of theirs just rapped me. I was told that being a sorc with intel as my focus my resists should be fine, but thats not the case.

From all my act 3 - 4 hell runs I have quite a bit of so so rares that I'm slowly selling on the AH and while that is happening I did a fast run of normal diff to farm some quick rares to tweak out my monk im now leveling. Because of a monks survivability I think I may have an easier time farming inferno with it once I get it up there.

Started this game over as a Monk, because Wizard bored me somehow >> I raped the Skeleton King with my Monk, while when I used my Wizard, the SK did a lot of damage to me >> even though I was ranged D:

yeah Im finding my monk to be over powered as well. But all the same I still like my sorc.

Monks are easy for solo play at lower levels, and generally are all rounded.

I'm on act 3 inferno now, just finished act 2 with my wizard.
I had 29k Dps, 17k health and 3.5k armour.
But because I wanted a group build, and a more tanky wizard I changed to

23kDps, 22k Health and 5k armour.
Just enough to see me through act 3 me thinks.

I haven't played at all since they nerfed everything, and I mained a monk.. all the difficulties until inferno were easy obviously.. its not that monk is op, its just those are a pile of turd xD the game IS inferno and when i finished it pre nerf, monk was one of the most gear dependant classes. i dunno what its like now but if you want true op roll a barb like halibonga said and faceroll naked
