all i know so far is that the only last name you have is sheopard you play as either a soldier (weapons), techno (technology) adept (unhumanlike powers) and any combination of only 2 also they made discoveries on Mars of an ancient civilisation called the protheansin the early 2100's what they found excelerated our own technology and sheopard is the best person in the entire human army and is the first spectre (operatives who will do whatever is necassary to accomplish there mission but a regular operative can only follow the councils orders) the council consists of three different aliens my brother chose to be an infiltrator (adept and soldier) you get 2 other operatives assigned to you for each mission (you pick the operatives but they can only be out of a select few from your crew who exept for 1 you meeton missions) you have a variety of weapons: pistol, sniper riffle, assault riffle a shotgun and another gun i forgot what it was; but if you choose infiltrator you canhave upgradeable powers you can upgrade weapons, and body armor too.

also the bad-guy is saren a rogue spectre who control the war machines called geth there's 2 objectives of the game: defeat saren and find out what destroyed and how the protheans were destroyed it turns out it was a race of the most powerful yet extinct war machines called the reapers (wich actually destroyed more than half of the known universe) and saren is trying to bring back the reapers.

Ah yes, Mass Effect.
I rented this game due to the lack of any sort of multiplayer, but It was definety amazing.
This game should have been game of the year 2007.

Actually nevermind, Super Mario Galaxy is awesome, BUT so is Mass Effect.

I bought it and played though it 2.5 times and I loved it but when u beat it twice it gets really boring.
