The plot was extremly well done, that's why I loved it.

2 was pretty looking with improved gameplay... But it lacked big time... Everything seemed superficial D:

You're clearly wrong. They have been developing this game for more than 8 years now. They put a lot of time in mostly everything with a HUGE focus on innovative mmo gameplay. They are trying to bring forth a new style of mmo gameplay with being more in depth with story. From what I here they focused to much on gameplay, voice acting (for everything), and everything else they didn't get a chance to work on the other eight classes. They say they will be a new expansion coming out a few years after the release with the other eight plus more other stuff.

That is the only thing I agree with you on.

So you tell me that 8 years is a normal amount of time for making a game mostly based on its plot? If they indeed have been working on it for 8 years it should look way better, its graphics and its site. And expansions come with every mmo, again I don't see the point you want to make.

So will Guild Wars 2, and it looks far better than any other mmo so far, with original gameplay,2012 worthy graphics and combat. Your point?

The game doesn't look different than any other not even recent mmo, its sole difference is that it focuses a lot on the plot which is possibly a negative for an mmo. The majority of the people that play online games want mostly to bash things and level up so that they can PVP. The ones who want plot tend to consoles.

Anyway, I don't see any point in arguing. You like the game a lot, while I'm not impressed. All we can do is wait for its release.

I never said that. 8 years is in fact a long time for a game to be made.

I think you ignored what I said. They are trying to make it so everyone (including people on sh*t PCs) can play. If the graphics were like Age of Conan or greater then no one would be able to play it. The more people able to play the more money the game will make. The more money they make the more improved the updates will be over time.

F*ck Guild Wars 2. Can I have a speeder bike, a star ship, a droid, a blaster, or a lightsaber in Guild Whor*s? Naa! If I wanna use the force and hop on my speeder to kill some Jawa then get dark side points for doing so then I'll be playing SWTOR cuz I don't think there is another MMO that can do that. If you're going to say Galaxies then please. Galaxies has no story base in there missions and you can't get light or dark side points for the actions you make.

and this game will be combining both (all of that) to bring in a bigger audience which no other MMO has done yet. Other than Age of Conan in some sense. However AoC requires a kick*ss PC which not everyone has. Therefore AoC fails in that sense and SWTOR will not.

Oh yeah and just to put it out there. I've spoke with many people who have had access to the Beta and they have told me that this game is gonna be sick. One of them is looking to be a trooper but when he got access they made him play only a Jedi Knight from level 1-10. He said, even tho it wasn't a class he would of chose the game was still a lot of fun and innovative.
