my OPINION:
1st - 360 - easily has the best multiplayer and i love to play online
2nd - ps3 - ps2 2.0, loved the ps2 but the multiplayer is garbage, good line of games like 360 though
3rd - wii - i'm not 12, i don't like knock off mario games, requires people coming round to your house and my friends raid my fridge if they come round, i did find trauma center INCREDIBLY fun though, my game of the year for 07
4th - pc - i can only sims2 for so long before i get bored shitless, pc's are for facebooking and msning

I have a Playstation 2 so it only seems natural that I would get the next gen Playstation. Even though I'm not big on gaming, if I was to get a next gen that would be it. My brother already has a 360 anyway.

And the Wii is pathetic. You can't play it by yourself. The novelty of the controls was lost on me after two hours of playing with my friends. It became boring: the biggest games are all repetitive college party titles and Nintendo is essentially a franchise of its own so half of those are Mario-related titles. A person can only take so many "Yahoos!" before they want to fire a nuke at their television.

Everybody knows that i PC can be what a next-gen gaming system is and more. So of course the PC rules them all.

The only thing the PC is lacking is the money-sucking exclusive game titles, which exist because the companies are either lazy, money-hungry or ignorant.

yes... all the PS and Xbox games could easily be released on PC to...... they just don't want to

I went with PS3 just because it is awesome. Mostly for the facts that were stated already like the free PSN and such. Plus it cost the same amount of money for an Xbox 360 with the same amount of HDD but it also comes with a Blu-ray player... one of the best Blu-ray players at that. The only reason I would consider an X-360 is because it has some awesome games that aren't on the PS3.

I agree with Tengux and xDboy too though... the PC is a good platform for gaming too. I play a lot of games on the PC... mostly MMOs but some others as well. Plus, those X-360 games that don't release on PS3 sometimes release for PC... like Mass Effect.

So my order of preferred platforms is:
PS3
PC
X-360
Wii

im more of a 360 guy. more of my friends play it and it has more games that i like than Ps3. I had all 3 systems and only used my Ps3 for a blu-ray player.
