i personally chose PS3 (after MUCH debate, i had both xbox and ps2) for 2 reason's

1. PSN is free LIVE is not ( and dont give no bs about how you get basic live free because you cant even play games or browse the web)
2. RECHARGABLE CONTROLLERS!! like honestly its NEXT-GEN ppl! wtf is with the wii and 360 using AA's those things aint cheap and they dont last very long.even if they last longer than the charge (which i doubt, friend has 1 complains all the time) when the charge does run out it just stops being wireless.

I agree with you, My votes on the PS3 but it needs more exclusives so hopefully Final Fantasy and Metal Gear 4 will help it out.
Did you know? The best selling console last years Christmas was the PS2?

oh there will be more, god of war i think for example.
wheres the 360 fanboys i was looking for some of the arguments that made me even consider 360 like at ps3's launch there were sooooo many microsoft fanboys saying bluerays were risky and if i bought a ps3 i was gonna regret paying for a bluray player........... blu ray is winning, so that's -$500 (the cost of a bluray player) off what i paid for my ps3 ("sony loses money off every ps3") not 2 mention a bluray holds 50GB's and a HDDVD only holds 15

For me, it would have to be a battle between PS3 or the Wii.

I like the PS3 'cause it makes all the same games as Xbox except that going online is FREE! Also, 'cause I've always loved the PS systems. After all, who doesn't love Frogger?!

And, a Wii. I like all of the multiplayer games for it. It kinda depends on what kind of a person you are. If you're a party-er... ()... go with the Wii. If you're the kinda person that's like "B**** don't touch mah game!" then go with PS3.

Well, I have all three... My Wii collects dust. (The power LED is actually red, which means its not even in standby, anymore).... I mostly just play Cooking Mama and Wii Bowling; I probablly wouldn't even play Cooking Mama on the Wii, if I had a DS.

PS3 is nice, but its lacking in the gaming department; but I do play it often. It also has Blu-Ray, which is a very nice plus.... Just wish they shipped the Dualshock 3's in the first place. It also has more backwards compatibility (which is more than the 360), even though I have a PS2 and PSX, so that's just an added feature.

360 is nice, since most people I know have one, and I can play Live games with them.


Overall though, I'd go with the PS3... Once a Sony fanboy, always a Sony fanboy.
So, if I rank my usage of the three:
1. Xbox 360
2. PS3
3. Wii

If I rank by which I like the most:
1. PS3
2. Xbox 360

Out of this whole CURRENT generation I'll give each system the title they deserve.

Xbox 360: Best online service to date. Ability to change even after the system has released. Defined what a gaming community is.

Wii: Most innovative of it's time. No other console had the balls to do something radically different. It has brought in new gamers and old ones as well.

PS3: The console with the most potential. No other system is as powerful as this one. Right now, no developer has what it takes to bring out the true potential in the system, which is good and bad.


Pretty hard choices, huh?
Let's talk about the bad.

Xbox 360: Multiple problems for a rushed console. RRoD, DRM issues, and some recent Live downtime. Many shooters grace the system, giving it the title: "FPS console". Becuase of this, it does poorly in Japan.

Wii: 3rd party developers say one thing and do another. They brag about how their games could bring the player closer to the game, yet they continue to make half-assed ports, rushed games for a quick buck. The Wii will one day show it's true colors but by that time, people might think the Wii itself is just a gimmick.

PS3: The powerhouse that can do it all. Just....not yet.
Many game comparisons show that the 360 can do anyhing the PS3 can, and better. This is true for now, but slowly as the years go by, the graphics will set it apart. Home is ambitious and it can also save the PS3 if done right. High price tag and a weak exclusive line-up is whats keeping this beast chained.

In my opinion, the 360 has contributed the most this gen. The Wii will outsell the rest, and the PS3 will grow the most.

My vote? 360.

not trying to join the band wagon but i have all consoles + a gaming PC... and i must admit i do play my 360 (only for the fact it has more games that are exclusive) but games exclusive to PS3 will be much better by 200%!

xbow360 - uses HD Disks which hold what 15gb of memory?
mean while...
PS3 0 uses blueray which holds up to 50gb...

just that should be enough to make the PS3 superior!

i liked the ps2 better then the original xbox but with the new systems i hate the ps3 so far, mainly because of the games that only it has are not very good (some are) and i havent heard of a single good rpg so far on it and thats one of its biggest things.
