feudal japan would be even worse, too many games set on that, it's unoriginal plus it wouldn't make sense to move back in time instead of forward

Pretty much all Feudal Japan games are hack n slash types, having an assassination game based around that era would make perfect sense.

i don't think game type matters at all. ac2 was amazing and so much critically praised cause it was set in a time period and place never before touched my the video game industry
