So true! That's my favorite anime vampire series ever! I've seen Hellsing, and it was ok, Blood + just didn't appeal to me for some reason, I've never seen Rosario Vampire Before, and I've never heard of Vampire Knight.

The Vampire Knight anime is pretty good so far though of course the manga is better. I cannot recommend Hellsing enough! Hellsing Hellsing Hellsing!!! OVA or not I love Hellsing so much! I even started reading the manga for that and now I love it even more! Ah I love how Alucard's name is Dracula backwards...hmmm other than that I'm not really sure...I've watched so many animes that they all blur together...there's also Karin if you like comedies...also there's Tsukiyomi Moon Phase though I haven't watched all of that yet so I don't know how good it is...

I have to agree w/everyone about Black Blood Brothers. It's great. Vampire Knight is pretty good so far. I loved Trinity Blood but it leaves you hanging. Blood+ is good. Hellsing is alright. I watched it to get to the 2nd Hellsing series, which I have yet to start because I'm already watching about 6 or 7 series right now. My sentimental favorite is Vampire Hunter D. It's technically the first anime I ever watched (if you don't count dubbed toons that used to come on tv that the single digit aged me never realized was dubbed like Speed Racer).

edit: There is no 2nd series! I didn't realize it was a re-do. Can you say pissed?

Blood+ is amazing but very dark at times. Moon Phase is good if you want a very cutesy and funny vampire anime.

Ive Gotta say Hellsing! Its super sexy but a bit short but the OVA is righteous like Kira!

Hey i wastch Blood + it was really cool and the story line was good but still don't know where they came from they should have told us

Vampire knight and black blood brother(if u dont watch this one ur baka)
and chrno crusade is about demons but its a nice one too.

Little romantic init too

Blood+ is pretty good but its story is a bit shade if u tell me.

To fully understand the story of Blood+ you'll need to watch the movie Blood: The Last Vampire. Pretty much explains everything. In story time, Blood+ takes place 30 years after the movie.
