Isnt this the forbidden jitsu that naruto learned in the first episode? If so, why is it so weak? I mean the only reason its forbidden is because it uses up a lot of chakra right?

Meh., Kage bunshin was good at first. Like in the first episode where Naruto uses it for the first time. Just seeing him replicate himself was great. Then against Gaara when he used Mass Shadow Replication and made another 1999 copies, totalling 2000 Naruto's, that was pretty awsome too. It was when it became like... his only move ever, that it started to get tediously repetitive. >< As for the strength? Well, could you imagine a few thousand Naruto's all on full strength? There wouldn't be any fights. It would simply be a case of "Kage Bunshin No Jutsu" and the fight would be over. Where's the fun in that? Where's the action? I think they made Kage Bunshin weak for that reason. It keeps the battles longer and more action filled rather than Naruto just pulling off one attack and ending it there. Of course, things aren't ny better with Rasengan now. It's either Kage Bunshin, Rasengan, or Kage Bunshin + Rasengan. nd when they came up with a new, "Original" technique for him, what was it? A new, improved... "Rasengan"... *sigh* |

| Banned | Becouse of its side effect - when clone dissapear you take its "tire" (no word here:/ ). This can elad to a serious loss. If you look at it this way, aside from Naruto only Kakashi and 3rd Hokage used it. This shows how "poor" this technique is.

it is because naruto makes a small amount that he can and also if he used kyubi he could make millions with alot more chakra

From everything I understand <I quote this is my opion/take on what I have seen> It was formally used as a spy technique so as to save lives "episode quote" the fact that it is a forbidden is due to and this is once again my opion the side effect of acquiring the fatigue of the shadow clones is the reason but it has been stated a few times that only naruto has the chakra to do the mass shadow clone. Kakashi did it once that I saw the end of the Sabuza episode when there on the bridge. ok wow I talk alot hehe and yea I dont use punctuation |

its because it splits the person chakra so if he does 1 clone the real one would have 50 percent and the clone would have the other half. so the more you do the weaker the clones became. thats why you see one person destroying all his clones easily
