I don't think he really cared if they were hollow/shinigami or shinigami/hollow. If anything, he would have wanted perfect shinigami/hollows, that way he could do it on himself. The only reason he ended up going with hollows is because he had to take refuge in HM, and as I'm sure you know, there arent many shinigami there.

Haha, no kidding, I have yet to see anything productive come out yet.

The dude expirmented on Shinigami/hollows, and Hollow/shinigami. But his hollow/shinigamis were horrible. Who cares wether or not he wanted more or the other.
The fact is, he couldn't create hollow/shinigami. So im pretty sure by default that leaves him shinigami/hollow until he gets the hogyoku. Which is the reason he baited Kisuke to the scene in Rukon..
Who really cares though, I mean you can pretty much twist anything to your favor to spark an arguement, but its no fun.

any way anyone know how many hollows you have to eat before you become a vasto lorde

not a clue but ur supposed to eat hollows at the level of adjuhas and below to become one . in other world alot of strong level hollows.
