But now that I look whewt brougth it up shortly. I don't think the Inner hollow can be classified in any of the traditional class systems. It is at the strength of a vasto, seeing as it was kicking the shiv out of Byakuya while Byakuya was in bankai, but it could not have evolved since it didn't have a chance to eat hollows.

The inner hollow is just on a different plane then other hollows.

Another theory I just came up with is maybe the only way to become a vasto is to have someone with enough power turn into a hollow. As shown in the grimmjow past part of the show, him and his whole group kept eating hollows and eating hollows but did not gain power in anyway. I think that stands to show that it is not possible to advance to a vasto through hollow consumption. Vastos may have only been created when a captain class shinigami got enough hate in their heart and was killed. Their body instead of traveling back to the real world was materialized in HM as a vasto. This would also explain the lack of them in HM.

I still think this should be discussed here. The theories thread is way overloaded. I give it one more shot.

lol even though im sure you were looking for a reason to post here, that is a pretty good point. but i doubt that its "when a captain class shinigami dies with hate in their heart" i think its more like when someone like ichigo, with immense reiatsu, and potential to be a captain class shinigami, dies and becomes a hollow.

i dont think it would work for people who are already shinigami.

Why do you even post? Clearly, if you had actually read all the prvious posts, you would know who I was talking too. But thanks for bringing us back off topic.

Anyways, sounds possible we can't prove otherwise. But if Grimmjow and crew didnt have a general idea of how its rumored to become a Vasto, they wouldn't of started the whole crusade to eat and evolve. Or maybe they were just going off what they did to evolve from gillain.

well grimmjow was close to becoming a vasto.or grow stronger untill aize came and made in an espada....i also heard this rumer that grimmjow in his adjuhas stage was close to becoming king of heuco mundo. i dont really believe that thou.

Grimmjow and the rest of his "friends" ate to become Vasto's but after eating more than 1000 nothing happened and thus they wanted to quit and let Grimmjow eat them so I am guessing Grimmjow did eat a part of them but not there whole....but hye still didnt evolve so he found Aizen and he turned him into an Arrancar like all the other Espada or Grimmjow as like fu** this and tore off his mask became an Arrancar....

Ans Aizen came too HM and turned him into a stronger Arrancar....
