Filler Skipping - AnimeCrazy.net Forums

So I just started watching Bleach recently and I'm very much enjoying it, as I figured I might. I just finished what I have read and perceived to be the last episode of a true arc at episode 63 which was a recap of the events in the Soul Society arc.

At this point I'm faced with a decision, should I continue watching the series and just eat the next two arcs which are filler and in no way support the story, or just skip right to episode 110 which begins the next "true" story arc.

I've heard some horror stories about Bleach filler, and I'd rather not tarnish my opinion of the series. I subscribed to the filler skipping method for Naruto in the transition to Shippuden and have zero regrets about it. I was wondering if anyone who is more familiar with the series than I has any thoughts regarding whether or not this is a good idea.

the bount arc wasnt horrible, not nearly as bad as the fillers in some anime series, but in comparison to the other bleach arcs, it sucks. it wouldnt hurt at all to skip it, i probably would if i rewatched the series, but at the same time, it wont make your eyes bleed.

Pfft, watch the fight between bount and SS, that was pretty good.

The fights are cool, and there is a little info. that is useful. But idk if that is enough reason for you to watch it. Skipping it would not be that ill advised.

It wasn't horrible, just kinda boring. I ended up watching it, but there's nothing wrong with skipping it.

I skipped it, and I'm not really regretting it. I just finished episode 167 so I've watched all of the actual manga based anime at this point and now I can go back and watch the filler including the current arc at my leisure but still be content in knowing that I've seen all of the real story that's currently available.

I think you should have watched the Bount arc before the HM arc, only because we are currently in fillers, and imo it would be horribly frustrating watch all of the real story, and then have to wait through a month or two of fillers before you get into the story again.

If you had watched the Bount arc through, before you started the HM arc, there would have been less waiting idle time waiting for this new filler to get done.

All of this assuming you don't read the manga.
