Aizen or Kenpachi?!

There are WAYYY too many fans that believe Kenpachi is the strongest character in Bleach, and frankly its foolish. Kenpachi originally had a draw with Ichigo, unleashing his brutal, yet simply 'flashy' reiatsu. The same Ichigo that had no battle sense, and just had Shikai.

And for some reason, i don't believe, in the least that Tousen used his 100% against Kenpachi, nor could he have beaten him, regardless (Tousen's bankai proved useless, OR he didnt use it to kill his opponent properly [he could have used his zanpakutou's ability and shot out his long ranged sword attack at Kenpachi's head]). Consider Tousen had defeated Kenpachi during that opportunity. Wouldnt that have eased Aizen's troubles? Tousen DID have an reasonable explanation if he had went 100% and killed him off, as Kenny was siding with the ryoka.

That's partially true. Kenpachi stated that he was indeed toying with him, but if he didn't bust out something strong and effective soon he would die. After the battle he asked Inoue for a good patch-up, incurring that his wounds were pretty deep, unless it was to highlight Inoue, by T.Kubo, just as she was taken away =S

ok wen they said kenpachi was the strongest captain it bugged me too but it's now obvious that they meant he wuz the strongest without any realeases, remember a release raises the user's reaitsu, and as for the ichigo thing it was all off ichigo's power + all off zangetsu's power put together against kenpachi's raw power and about the tousen thing i realli think he did go all out and even if he did he is way stronger now than he was back then anyways kenpachi owned him and wuz about to own fox man too

well he knws the espadas r strong and he wud want to fight them at 100% which is y he wanted the patch up, i doubt his wounds were that back he was still standing high and mighty to me i guess Tite jus wanted to highlight Inoue right before Stark came like u said

he did own fox man but if u notice aizen always makes his move b4 someone gets to attack, cuz fox man used bankai but didnt even get a chance to breath properly after his release haha

Again, Kenpachi DID have a draw with Shikai Ichigo. Aizen single handedly.. no single fingeredly demobilized Bankai Ichigo. I think its safe to assume that Ichigo got significantly more powerful with his Bankai 3-day training. The answer to my question involves the topic of this thread. Is Ichigo.. more powerful than Kenpachi?? Please dont state that Ichigo lost to Nnoitra. Then you'll deserve a slap on the wrist, face, poke in the eyes, and kick in the ______ ( fill in the blanks ).

Initially, Bankai Hichigo was defeated and killed by Ulquiorra, one of Aizen's HENCHMEN, without release, mwahahaha. Its also safe to state Aizen > any or all Espada, combined.

If...

Aizen > Ulquiorra > Ichigo > Kenpachi
Aizen > Kenpachi

However if...

Kenpachi > Ichigo

Then what? =S
