That thought crossed my mind, but it seemed pointless. As I said sacrificing herself, sounds more reasonable, and Gimmjow as well, or something of equal commendation.

I suppose that whole scene with Orihime's brother have just as easily been meant to give us depth into the character of "a hollow," but I think that given the nature of Orihime's powers, it's very likely that it was foreshadowing. Maybe not for Nel or Grimmjow, but I think her powers might be used in that way at some point in the series. Nel and Grimmjow just seem like the easiest, specifically Nel.

Yeah I don't see them killing Nel. It doesn't seem like the bleach way. Like I said in the begining. I think she will fight to save Ichigo and lose but Orihime will come and heal Ichigo just in time to save Nel.

I don't think Nel will die...Somehow I can't really see any of the good guys dying in Bleach, only the bad guys have died so far.
