im very excited because im imagining seeing the soulslayer "mascots". we have already seen hyourinmaru,zabimaru & zangetsu.I hope that is what the filler is about...

i don't think there will be much filler, i mean they are extending the fights rather a lot, and there are some awesome ones to come which can be stretched, we shouldn't see filler for till the end of this year i think.

Why did he wait so long to release his zanpaktou?

Is it to destructive for him to control? He destroyed everything below him when he finally released it, but was that his intent, so that everyone could escape? or was it that was the best he could control it?

With that kind of power one would think that he would have been more help when fighting with the assasins. Was he just keeping his power hidden as an "ace in the hole?"

What role will he play in defeating Kifune, if any?

His name is Enryuu...and I think he waited so long because he was shy about the way his voice sounded. I think he was waiting for an opportunity to release it without anyone hearing him.
