Saddest anime? *wipes away a tear*

So, what's the saddest anime you've ever watched? Because of a situation, character, relationships - whatever.

I usually watch more actiony-to-much-movement-to-be-sad anime, but I'm curious.

I can't really think of many, so I want your opinions. : )

death note is not sad......... if you consisder death note a sad anime then you probably have only seen single digit series of anime.................

naruto was sad when the third died, and will get sadder again when a certain other person dies. i really didn't want that person to die, but it was still inevitable.
one piece has one of the saddest eps ever when they have to bid their ship the last farewell.
ai no kusabi is really sad, but as it's yaoi i don't think too many would care about it here.
some of the gundam series are said to be sad, but i haven't watched them yet..
air might be sad, unless your totally disappointed over the ending, like i was. though most ppl who watch it like it.
oh.. and trinity blood is really sad. especially the 3 last eps


aah.. forgot the worst one, bokurano. you should really watch that one. it's sad, and cruel. it's about how the real heroes are those who die first without anyone ever knowing..

I think they completely ruined the sadness in Naruto. They're draging out the series, and it's starting to get stupid... Sadly, what they did to my first favorite, Inuyasha. Especiailly the episode where Naruto and Sasuke where fighting ont he river. They totally ruined the ending, they were so dramatic, but nothing really changed. Naruto was fine.

I've NEVER found One Piece sad. XD

Gundam series can be emotional, for whatever reason. : O

Death Note had sad moments, but I didn't find that a sad SERIES. The only one I cried over was episodde 25. *cries*

The Bokoronu and Tengen ones I might just try out.
