Random thing I'd like to bring up, are they ever going to explain Ichigo's father? I mean the whole story would change if Ichigo knew that lol? Seems pretty big but left out in my opinion

The author said that there is going to be a backstory about him at some point. I don't think it'll be any time soon since there are some major battles going on, but expect it.

Something I didn't understand... is pretty much the whole damn series portion relating to hueco mundo... They kidnapped orihime, but I never saw them use her... wtf was it all for?

Aizen kidnapped her because he needed her special powers to awaken the hogyoku(orb thing), which is the tool to create the King's key. But a sudden plot twist was that after all he didn't need her power, and he was able to awaken it by himself, so he moved on his plan and went to Karakura town to create the key.

Ah did not realize the part that he could awaken it on his own, must've been brief and i skimmed over it or something

Well Grimmjow used her to "heal" his arm back. And Starrk used her to but i dont know for what or i just forgotten it.
