Yea so if anyone doesnt know what this is it is an ability that only extremly strong Pirates have.An example of this would be when the Sea King was about to come back and kill Luffy and Shanks looked it in the eyes and scared it away another better example would be when Shanks was on Whitebeard's ship and he made some of the crew pass out.

Haki is also known as 'Spirit'

Anyway in the recent Chapters Silvers Rayleigh demonstrated the technique by knocking out all of the gaurds at the auction house,well it has come to my attention and many many others that this could be a way to defeat Logia type DF users.As we all know they seem to be invincible where the only way to harm them is too catch them off gaurd or use a Seastone.

Let me know some of your theory's on Haki and know that the OP Forums will become awesome xD

Can haki really do that? Maybe he was just caught of guard, kinda like Luffy punching smoker, Ace, and Enel?

luffy could beat enel since he was rubber thats why he coudlent let his punches pass trou him

but i doubt he was off guard he was in the middel of a battle not in a resteraunt eating

And I don't really think it's "haki" that Shanks used. I mean, Haki is like reatsu presence in Bleach. It's around you everywhere, if your soul is weak you perish, if it's equal or stronger it's no treat.
Haki/reatsu falls on the opponent as soon as he's in sight WITHOUT any contact with opponent's body. You don't think you can throw haki xD also I doubt you can use it like chakra in Naruto (= consentrate it in one part of your body= harden it or smth).
So maybe it's some other power of Shaks. If haki was all he got would he really be one of Yonkou?

Kizaru just didn't notice Rayleigh. That's what I think.

And it really depends how strong you are but Haki's ability might go beyond knocking people out
