Yes but if the VA's are so strong whats the point of making them allies and not raping them and giving them a 1 way ticket to ID ?

They need all the muscle they can get. They're taking pirates who would other wise be at around VA's level and using them to suppress the pirate age, and they can work outside the law.

so I was wondering something when thinking about who akainu will fight .. :/

will rayliegh sit back and do nothing ? we found out dragon won't likely help, ace isn't really his son
but rayliegh seemed to have been close with roger .. will he stand by and let his son die ?

and I think Shichi > VA's .. but it's probably mixed

we know some shichi are stronger then others
and it's probably the same for VA's

Then why do they rely so much on the Shichibukai for this battle ? it dosnt make sense for a Vice admiral level to be compared to the shichi ... maybe Garp and 1-2 more VA's but not the hole damn rank :O

thats what I said in my post .. i'm sure it's mixed

and I doubt any are as strong as mihawk .. probably the same for Don and Kuma

Its only 7 Shichibukai. Garp > any Shichibukai and he hasn't been promoted so they're a really high limit on their strength.
