i'm not sure who else luffy would fight though. other than a random vice-admiral. i doubt oda would have him fight moria again, and i don't think kuma would fight luffy. maybe smoker and/or hina spontaneously shows up and joins the party? although i think oda is more cleverer than that.

I want luffy to fight a swordsman Vice admiral, and a good one, to see what he can do at a disadvantage

Well till now only Mihawk is taken from the shichibukai. If we take out Boa that leaves us with Kuma,Moria,Don. Maybe Luffy's group fights them.

Example

Luffy vs Kuma
Jinbei vs Moria
Crocodile vs DonFlamingo (you cant deny that this one would be beyond epic)

so do i. but if they ran into a swordsman, #1 would probably jump out to fight him, because according to oda swordsmen HAVE to fight other swordsmen.

I wonder how Don would manage against a logia
if his wires were seastone that would suck major balls for croc .. but it would be awesome for Don

Maybe its possible that Don can wet his wires and Crocodile cutting them with that crazy move he used in ID. *pictures that*
Or whatever even if they stand still and dont even talk this fight would still be epic
