I'm pretty sure he wanted to be, but since he is old and about to die, he wanted to make Ace PK.

I think it's unimportant and rather lame to quote yourself like that. I think Sengoku was more concerned with making sure the public didn't hear about their underhanded tactics then smearing WB's name.

I think that WB and Gol D Roger want a PK who manage to ACCOMPLISHED something that neither Wb nor Roger could do/did.
