some others to watch are ABSOLUTLY Trigun it's very funny at first then it kinda gets a little serious but still has a well made story. also check out Xam'd The lost memories it's pretty cool. also check out Fooly Cooly if you want weird and VERY funny. Last but not least is s-Cry-ed , it's actiony and flippin sweet that and trigun are why I got into anime.

Great Teacher Onizuka and Cowboy Bebop are two of my all time favorites... classics...

Definitely check out Bleach. I only like the manga for One Piece. If you also like legendary story lines, like me, Gungrave is bomb as hell.
