in the episode the head of all the 13 squads seems to trust or belive in ichigo for some reason i think its because his father was the head of command or... isshin was supposed to be the head but something went wrong thats why the commander is trusting ichigo because he resembles his father and wants him to take over the head of squad (1st division)
