I am trying to start a anime club in my school. I don't really have a good idea as to what other anime clubs do. Can anyone give suggestions?or maybe an idea about how to convince a teacher to be a sponser?

try looking it up online, you should be able to find some info as to what people do in an anime club. What I would suggest is perhaps sit and watch anime(obvious answer), and have meetings where you talk about the latest anime/manga or any conventions that are coming around or just stuff like that....hope that helps

Also, if you want a teacher to sponser this club then be aware that the teacher might not be too keen on animes that show blood. So perhaps show happy, happy animes when the teacher is there, then shove on the Naruto, Bleach etc etc when the teacher is not present.

Why the big step?
Not to long ago my school organized a meeting at the auditorium on a Saturday
Everyone paid $5 for admission and people would see a couple of anime movies (the event was advertised on the walls)
With that money you could convince those very same people to help you create the club
Hey, you might be lucky enough to have a National anime club in the nearby future

Ya and we only did it once aku....and it wasnt movies, it was random episodes of anime...
