Thumbs up Lucky☆Star

Well I just started watching this and am on episode 9. I must say at first I was a little confused, as the beginning of the show in the 1st episode was a long winded convo where I felt like I wasted my life -.-'...........BUT, it grew on me in that same episode, and now I freaking am addicted. The show is really funny and actually gives some good info. The characters are well thought out and are hilarious all the time.

I will say though, even if the girls are 17 and older they look 12, so if you are a dude that is like 15 or older you might feel like pedobear watching it. If you get past that I am sure you will love this show as much as I do ^.^

lol this show is what gave you the nickname of pedobear SSJ remmember

ok
This show irritates me to a max lvl I though unreachable
I watched first episode after 5 min I wanted to stab my eyes out
then after 7 min I realised it wouldn't make any difference cuz I would still be able to hear their goddamned voices

All they did was talk about how the best way was to eat surtain foods like how do you eat this chocolate cone cuz I always get my fingers dirty or I can't get the last bit out without dripping

I was like STFU go do something interesting play with dolls atleast or something.
Oh how I hate this show
I HATE IT
but if you like it it's ok I can asume not every episode is as mind numbing as episode 1.

I love Lucky Star ^^

At first I watched the first episode and thought it was a waste of time, it took one of my friends' insistence that I watch the entire thing for me to become a fan. And boy I'm glad he did, that show really grew on me

I was awaiting the English dub, so they could add humor that I would actually get... Being American, and all; kind of like a Shin Chan or Super Milk Chan thing. Then I actually watched part of episode five, particularly when Tsuska does her "barisomikosou" thing (second favorite part of the series) and had to close the window thanking god I did not download this.

I decided to watch the series a second time through... It certainly has its moments but I will still take Haruhi or Clannad over this show any time.

I actually enjoy lucky star quite a bit. Yes, the first episode was pretty boring, but this anime is classified as a slice of life show, not just comedy. sometimes in life you are going to have boring conversations with your friends. the show also shows real life situations and how girls deal with them.

i actually enjoy the girls having more realistic body types, because high school girls are not known for having huge chests.

the only down side was pausing the video to read up on all the jokes. some were rather obscure.

I must say that I enjoyed Lucky Star a lot. When I first started watching it I wasn't very impressed, the comedy took a little getting used to, and the animation style had that 'pedo' factor as was mentioned before.

But as the series went on, I found myself increasingly pulled into the mix of total randomness and humor, and was quite sad at the end of it that I wouldn't be able to get that light hearted fix anymore. I'm usually not a big random humor guy, Azumanga Daioh is considered a similar genre, and it really bugged me. I liked Lucky Star much more. It felt incredibly good to just sit back relax, and grin during the show after watching such serious titles like FMA and Wolf's Rain.

In the end I think it was Konata's otaku-ness that I saw far too much of in myself that kept me watching until I was hooked. As far as non-action anime goes, I'd rank this very VERY close to the top.
