Does anyone have any idea when Ichigo's dad is gonna tell him why and how he has soul reaper powers??? I can't wait to see the old man unleash his sword

In an interview Tite said that he was going to do an Isshin back story. There is no information on when/if he will be joining this fight though.

Ok..But wouldn't it be hot if his father trains Ichigo at some point..my thought on it is that ichigo gets his powers more from his father in some way..maybe dad some high type after bankai

It is assumed by some on this forum that the father (and possibly the mother) are both high ranking shinigami.

I doubt Isshin will train Ichigo at any point. They don't have that sort of relationship. Isshin more of "toughened up" Ichigo.

Yeah but a bond between will form..that's is his son...but i always thought that also..some higher ranking guard then the 13th..i think something will give sooner or later..they have too..lol

They have a bond. It's just not the type where he would train him. Isshin works in more subtle ways. I am very hopeful we will see him again though. I want to either see the last 50 years of his life or see him kick some ass. Not training his son.

Spoiler One of the two, I and a few others believe, was in the royal gaurd. If it was Isshin that was in the royal gaurd it is likely we will see him if and when Aizen makes it that far.
