Im just curious why ichigo and the other vaizards have inner hollows? and why is it not so common among shinigamis?

Only shinigami who've broken the barrier between hollows and shinigami can use hollow abilities. Ichigo obtained his when he was in the pit that Uruhara set him in to get his shinigami abilities back, while he was in there he broke the barrier between the two, while Uruhara expiremented with the vizards and the hogekyou. That's why Aizen wanted the hogekyou to get hollow abilities. That's also why Uruhara was banned from SS, Aizen set him up.
