Alright enough chit chat let's get to the list and start enjoying some real anime fun. We will begin with what we consider number 5 and move our way to number 1 on the last page!

Note though that this show does have some minor potty humor so feel free to skip if you hate that stuff.</blockquote>

<h2>Best Comedy Anime - Full Metal Panic / Full Metal Panic Fummufu</h2>

<blockquote>Full Metal Panic starts off feeling like yet another one of those hundreds of mech anime which some under aged weakling can take on the world, but don't run yet it quickly turns into a much better show within a few minutes of the show starting. In reality a young middle eastern refugee turned rebel justice fighter, has to help protect an dashing Japanese female student from high tech terrorists which need what's stored in her brain. Yea that's a mouth full but that's just because i'm good at confusing people. This show is the most funniest comedy anime show I have watched to date, and I really had wished I would have come across more shows like this but sadly this is the only type of show in it's genre. So enjoy each episode like they are it's last. Truly funny and couldn't recommend Full Metal Panic enough.</blockquote>

I apologize ahead of time for skipping of my other favorite shows like Gintama which I was too freaking sleepy when I wrote this to remember.

It's funnier than all of these combined in my honest opinion.

These are good anime series for sure, except for one I haven't seen.
But there are quite a few I felt to be 10x funnier than any of these. =p

Lovely Complex – I though it was cute and hilarious, definitely belongs on this list.

GTO – I tried to watch it on here but it only played the first five minutes at the time, which was over a year ago so I can’t comment on it.

Zatch Bell – I saw the first 20-odd episodes on Cartoon Network a long time ago and I don’t really remember it being funny, but that could have happened later on in the show or we just have different tastes.

Nodame Cantible – I read a description about it and thought it was too cliché a while back, but maybe I’ll give it a shot since I mostly agree with this list.

Full Metal Panic – I didn’t really like the story that much but this is a really funny show. The Fumoffu season (where they abandoned the serious story line in favor of just comedy) made my sides hurt. I never watched the last season because like I said, I could care less about the story.

Seto no Hanayome – I have never, in the entire history of my anime and television watching life (75% of my total life), have ever laughed out loud at every single episode of any show other than this one. Nor have I laughed as hard or as often with this show. I watched it again with some friends and it didn’t get any less funny.

The entire premise of the show is ridiculous. Yakuza mermaids, The Terminator in a school girl outfit, shellfish assassin, perverted monkey sage boy, agoraphobic killer whale in a spacesuit, gay love. This show is my all time favorite show simply because it is HILARIOUS!

Of course I realize the reason why that show is not on this list is because to put it on a list would be degrading to it. It stands alone at the top of Mount Anime, overlooking the rest of the shows. Watching them struggle to achieve the height of greatness it is at. Maybe one day an anime shall reach it and therefore end its loneliness. Some have come close but slipped before making it. Hopefully, one day, the top of Mount Anime shall be so full and lively with anime shows that they have to build a condo and Burger King. And, Seto no Hanayome willing, I will work at that Burger King.

Excel saga was pretty funny, but it got redundant after a while. While Gintama constantly comes up with new funny jokes/concepts
