Ok when does Orihime do something serious and what storyline do u actually mean?
Kon was created as a comic character because a fight/episode would be boring somehow if everything is about "i lost...i couldn't protect anyone and Kurosaki Kun..."
Thats why Kon is here anyway. Orihime can't stand a fight on her own in my opinion and she wouldn't be here if Ichigo didn't get his power awaken by Rukia.

orihime is getting stronger then people think...Ichigo's enemies are just way to strong (4 & 6) and she has one of the greatest abilties in the show..besides if she was to strong the plot would be pointless cuz there'd be no need for them to save her

Everyone has gotten stronger in one way or another. Why doesn't Orihime use her abilities then?
I mean Ishida, Chad and Rukia where almost dead but they were fighting and their enemies were strong too.

her abilties aren't meant for fighting..as said by hacchi(fat viazard guy)

did you see chad get owned in one hit by noitra like it was nothing , what could orihime do to beasts like that?

She has Tsubaki which could somehow fight and Tsubaki increases his power when Orihime's anger and killing intent becomes stronger. Kenpachi was about to die while fighting Nnoitra so you can't really blame Chad.

oh I wasn't blaming chad...noitra is beast..i'm just saying you can't expect orihime to fight them

tsubaki got owned by yammy like it was paper..it's a worthless offence
her healing abilties are better then anyone in HM or SS though she has decent defence as well
i'm not saying she's great..just underestimated

I know her healing powers are great but still she could have at least healed Ichigo while Kenpachi was fighting instead of watching until Ichigo called her. She could have done so many things but she didn't. That's why i don't really like her that much...i'm not underestimating her but that's my opinion anyway.

He just ran after them. I don't think he was healed...just wanted to save her again.
