does anyone here play the guitar

i just bought one and have always wanted to start learning how
so yeah and i realise i know nothing about reading music sheets or even know where to begin

so any tips on where from any guitar players, im looking into some songs im gonna try ot learn to play, any suggestions about what you learned to play

Well I Don't play guitar, but I play the piano. So the tip I can give you once you are fresh in all this thing. First move: learn the notes!!! and how to read tabs!!! You can find plenty of explanations of internet. Also you must learn about tempo. I mean, how much "time" each note consumes.
I would write a tutorial right here right now, but I have no idea how all these things are called in english. But I will try to find a way to do it.

i play guitar, ive been playing for like a year and a half now ^^ i can teach you a few things i guess. you know what a fret is right?

I've played a little bass. If you can get someone to explain tabs to you, it's pretty easy. I usually find tabs to music I want to learn and try to play along. Youtube would probably be a big help. Good luck!

ok i am someone whos A.D.D and played violin for 2 years but then lost it (in 5th grade) i dont remmeber anything

as a matter a fact all i know how to do is tune the guitar, thats all thats stuck since ive started trying to learn, i still have a few days before it arrives so yeah

any tips, PM me some links to anything that could help im really psyched for this

well what kind of Pick do you use, or even if you have a pick

trim the fingers on you left hand pretty short. if you wanna finger pick, keep the right ones long, except the pinky, that one doesnt matter.

i dont have the guitar yet its still being shipped my buddy made me a deal and sold it to me on ebay, hes giving me 2 picks so no idea on that

Here is a good exrcise.......What every fret finger you use , use that for typing, type with one hand....it surprisingly works!
