So I've pretty much exhausted my preferred anime lists here on AC. I've watched a ton of shows and am now at a loss.

Usually, before I watch a particular show, I read reviews as well as visit the wikipedia pages and other forums in order to get a feel for the anime. This can only get me so far- some pages that might not seem interesting could actually be a great anime!

This is where I need your help- I need to know what else is out there that is worth my time to watch. I'm a big fan of great, fluid animation paired with suspense, thriller, mystery, or violence (Or all four). I'm also a big fan of a compelling story, thought-provoking story lines, and tear-jerkin' twists.

I also enjoy romance comedy, lmao.

Anywho, heres a list of everything I've enjoyed the most over the last coupla years I've been watching anime. Everything here has received either a 9 or a 10 on my personal scale:

Cowboy Bebop
Samurai Champloo
Code Geass/ CG R2
Death Note
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Wolf's Rain
FLCL
Gungrave
Trigun
Monster

And at the moment I'm watching: Xamd, Bleach, Naruto, Soul Eater, Tora Dora, Maria+Holic.

So if you could list some of your guys' personal favorites and why, I'd appreciate it!

Aside from the obvious (One piece) try higurashi no naku koro ni. You said you enjoyed thrillers, right? Don't let the cute fool you.

Thanks guys, I've watched One Piece til about 120.

And Hitman reborn... I watched like 20 episodes but there was no way I could actually stcik with it. The main character is too wimpy and they rely on that gun wayyyy to much.

Hajime No Ippo? Havent heard of that one, whats it about?

try eyeshield 21..it doesnt really fit the genres u mentioned but its friggin insanely good

Utawarerumono. You will love it. Lots of blood and the main character is a huge mystery. It's 26 episodes I believe.
