I was wondering. Is it strange to love listening to japanese music and not be able to understand a single word they're saying?

No it's not strange at all. Many people do that including myself. Most of the times I try to find a translation but as you know there are many songs that are less popular and there isn't one. But still I listen to those songs and eventually I know the lyrics by heart and I don't understand most of it, hehe...

I wanted to go to japanese lessons with my mother. We went to there, paid and never showed up lol. Because her work got harder and my studies were suffocating me. Hope you manage to get some time

That, my friend, is why music is universal : ) dont have to understand the words, just the melody the words create along with the music!

Oh and try some korean:
Fricking rocks. Sounds like hes singing "city of gold" in the chorus hehe.
