I was reading the mang over and I caought something he said that Yachiru is the name of the only person he ever cared about and that is why he gave Yachiru her name. So who is the first Yachiru? I think it is like a girlfriend or wife he had. Discuss.

Ooo, I really like this thread, though I have no clue as to what it could have meant. My guess would be that it's someone he killed, who put up a good fight. Possibly a his trainer/mentor?

Possibly the name of the previous 11th squad captain?

Maybe he did have a wife.... or maybe the first Yachiru was the first person to challenge him good enough to be a lover of the fight, or maybe its the first person he ever fought and killed.
