Anyone else notice how much Bleach hates pillars?

Every major battle has some kind of pillar being broken, even in the SS arc Renji broke those tower thingies when fighting Byakuya.
Later manga chapters Ishida broke pillars to make the floor above collapse.
During his fight with Thunderwitch he broke lots of them too.
Grimmjow and Ichigo broke some pretty big ones.

Do you think Tite has something against pillars?

This is pretty much a "for fun" thread, but any more examples of pillar-breaking would be good, I'd like to have a full list of all pillars broken in the series.

Btw has this been done?

Zaraki sliced a few. Yeah its a recurring theme... Can't discuss much more, pretty pointless thread. It will probably get closed since there is a forum games section for those looking for fun.

noitras fraccion was as big as a pillar and chad defeated the guy whos sword created pillars in the lurichiyo/bakkotou filler

I think it is just a different way of showing power. they do it in alot on animes. Take DBZ, they were always being smashed though cliffs and other rock faces.

I agree. In DBZ it was cliffs and rocks, and in Bleach its the pillars.
Almost all the fights had pillar-destruction as far as I remember.
Especially the fights inside Las Noches where those huge pillars are everywhere.

Considering Las Noches is made up of mostly towers and pillars, I'd say it's pretty normal for them to be broken. Especially when you have people like Zaraki, Ulquiorra, Grimmjow etc fighting.
