Maybe, but actually Ichigo had to be close to death to get his and if someone kill Karin and she got her powers she wouldn't be able to fight the person who killed her and you know why.

Maybe something like a projectile weapon that follows it's target until it's hit? That sounds pretty badass.

Well they define death as passing over to Rukongai/soul society, but Kisuke sperated his chain from his body, and the only way to prevent him from disappearing from earth is either becoming a hollow or becoming a shinigami.

I guess it could also be considered near death, considering he really never did pass over even though he was killed.

Karakura town has been moved to Soul sosiety so maybe that will help Karin and the others to awaken their powers or make the prosess faster.

Um, I am pretty sure where ever Isshin is Karin and Yuzu are and I don't think he is in Soul Society.

They moved the towns people with the city, which is in soul society now. Although it seems as though souls that moved with the town were not put to sleep. So Isshin would be awake, Karin and Y should be passed out though.

Although Isshin said he has plans with Kisuke, I honestly don't know where they are. lol.
