^ that makes sense; kabuto & the sound-nin should at least know of the elderly kakuzu, if not the recently added hidan. i dont see Oro keeping them ignorant about such things since he pulls missions with four of them.

Let me make sure I'm understanding the question...

You're asking if Kimmimaro and kidomaru, someone who was killed by a Genin, could defeat two Akatski members?

You need to come up with a better partner for Kimmi. They would get crushed by Hidan and Kakuzu.

Gaara as a genin could kill Hidan easily. Rank isn't everything.

Gaara as a Genin almost got beaten by Rock Lee. Hidan beat Asuma. I think you're getting a little carried away.

Rank is very important. I just had this discussion with Mreaper. Rank tells you a lot about a character.

Either way let's be real...Kidomaru is not at the level of any Akatsuki member.

Rock Lee is incredibly fast for a genin and Gaara was in a building. If Gaara was a open location he could fight like Deidara. I heard that Naruto is still a genin yet he can fight S class ninja. What does that say about rank?

Let's be real...Hidan isn't either.

That's called an excuse. The fact Mizuki was destroyed by Naruto who was seriously challenged by other genin later says that rank isn't everything.
Also the main character argument is lame.
Compared to every other Akatsuki member I've seen fight Hidan isn't comparable. Your only statement is that he's in akatsuki and that makes him automatically superior in everything, but he only got Asuma because he didn't know his ability(was only scratched) and his attack was easily avoided by Shikamaru. Perhaps you should explain how Hidan could get past Kidomaru's armor.

I made my point. Naruto is the title character. Rules that apply to other characters don't apply to him. It's like saying "Zaraki Kenpachi isn't as strong as people think because Ichigo beat him". Ichigo is the title character. They have to win in certain situations for the story to progress.

In the first fight Hidan was kicking everyone's ass including Shikamaru. It was like 4 on 1 cuz he wouldn't let Kakuzu fight. Hidan's taijutsu skills are elite.

You seem to forget what I'm actually arguing. You're spewing fanboi hatred of Hidan and I'm making the point that Hidan and Kakuzu would smash Kimmi and Kidomaru. Don't jump in the conversation if you're just going to blindly rant out of hatred for a particular character. If you hate Hidan, that's your problem. It doesn't mean he sucks.

Also, I never said rank was EVERYTHING. I said it is IMPORTANT and it tells you a lot about a character. Genin Neji could NEVER beat Hidan, but he beat Kidomaru.
