Faster than a Kiss

it's about a 16 yr old high school girl who's married to her homeroom teacher. naturally they have to keep it a secret, but she's got a slight violent streak so he has to come to her rescue often. her homeroom teacher used to be as bad-ass gangster, so they have issues with that too. from the teacher's end, it's kinda like gto except he hides his past better.

it's really good and seriously funny. its ongoing and so far only 7 chapters are out.

Honey Bitter, by Miho Obana (not typical lovey dovey girl meets boy shoujo)

I don't think English versions are available online as far as I know, but the person who created "Kodomo no Omocha" created this series! it's serialized in Cookie (shueisha, ribon) along with popular 15+ manga like NANA.
There's 5 volumes out so far.

It's a mystery/action manga about a detective agency (imagine the setting of Conan) and the main character Shuri; she becomes a freelance detective at her aunt's agency because she has the innate power of reading people's minds at will, so she helps solves mysteries.

'Five' by Shiori Furukawa's got a bit of bishounen, but it's also a must recommend on my list.

the author herself says her manga's been translated into 5+ languages, including English, so it's licensed in the North America region, Korea, Taiwan, China, and some Southeast Asian countries.

*useless info but noteworthy* she's friends with Kubo Tite!! (noted in a thank-you corner in her tankoubon)

Summary:
Hina Asou has been moving around all her live until she transfers into Shuei high school with a class with only guys, and meets the "Mens Five." Needless to say, they're all sweet and are impossibly rich and powerful, arrogant, but take care of Hina really well. The class is full fo rich smart kinds because this high school's classes are divided according to the student's test scores; many school events and rivals evolve around the Mens Five + Hina.

as for the categorization, i agree that it's not conventionally shoujo, but it's 15+ (a lot of josei comics are like saitou-san for e.g.

Honey Bitter is part of Cookie, which is a 'shoujo manga magazine'.... ><
