i think its dumb it does teh same stuff over and over its not hard to follow liek some people say its very simple i wasted my life watching it
i wanan see what makes you guys liek ti so much.
i think most of you are just following teh crowd but eh what do i know?

Actually, I enjoyed the mental games played between L and Light(the bastard!) and the Nel. Also, the complexity of the characters and the constant questions that ran through my head as i watched it. You don't get that out of too many anime.

Mainly Plot, but the unique Characters and Art is very good too.

Actually, death note is one of those famous animes / manga that gets around due to word of mouth / popularity.
If someone recommends a good anime to watch and you watch it - does that mean you follow the crowd?
But meh, I liked it, Light was an awesome character who was rather twisted, L was just plain awesome, and the games they play with each other are sweet, as well as the plot twists.
But it's just taste / opinion I suppose.

there was so much suspense, i guess. i didn't think it was repetitive, light and L were always doing stuff you never thought they'd do.

also cuz L was so darn funny

Its a rare case of a masterpiece becoming popular.
If you dont like it its probably that it isnt of your taste. Or you are even more retarded than me(which I doubt anyone is) and cant understand whats happening.

I agree , Death Note is a ( GREAT SHOW ) , i love all the twist and turns , L's great , and Light is The perfect person to show L greatness , even when he died , he still won , cause his back up plain with N and the other one .I mean that show is one of my fav , next to coarse code geass which is my number 1 fav.

I ENJOYED Death note, the mental battles, the characters are cool (without being superhuman at all)
I dont blame you for not liking it, anime is a very personal thing

It's like a Mecha Death Note x 100000000000000 xD ( I really like that show)

the show is a masterpiece, how can you not like it?
the animation is one of the best iv'e ever seen, the twists keeps you on your edge of your seat, the characters are fascinating and the show keeps you thinking about it days after you have finished watching it.
