Uhm... I'd also recommend BLOOD + or Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles. Uhm, about Tsubasa, I recommend the manga. Oh, and if you watch the anime, I recommend you to watch the OVAS after finishing the first season =p

I don't know how far into D. Gray-man you got, but you should really give it another chance.
Definitely one of my favorites, and it's a manga-following long series like Bleach and Naruto(well, it ended after a little over 100 episodes because it had caught up to the manga, but there's been a time skip, so who knows, we might see another series)

you r missin out on probable one of the best anime of all time if you dont watch CODE GEASS, its some mecha but the storyline is much deeper than just that
also a new anime that is out that is really cool and action packed is Sengoku Basara which is about samurai
