But is anyone here a fan of Silent Hill???? (possibly the BEST Horror survival game series ever!! what Am I saying Possibly??? PSSSSH sorry Resident Evil) lol I kid you guys... I kid

Silent Hill 3 with Heather (so cool second best one)
Silent Hill 4 with Henry (poor Henry)
the other two are like eh...since they weren't created by Team Silent

See after watching this trailer, I thought Silent Hill 4 would be the scariest game up to date but it wasn't.... yet the story with Henry and Walter is entertaining and sad so yay
what I didn't like about Silent Hill 4 were those stupid ghosts that followed you around everywhere *shudder*

I have 1-4 and Origins on PSP. I've only played Origins... I know its nothing like the originals, but I enjoyed it. I hope someday I decide to play the first four. I was into Resident Evil at the time the Silent Hill games were coming out. (I liked the movie) Scariest moment in gaming: Seeing that first zombie in Resident Evil 1... Oh, then we got the Director's Cut. :x

I have all of the soundtracks, and Akira Yamaoka certainly did a fine job, definitely would add to the atmosphere of a game like Silent Hill... "Room For Angel" is so haunting and ambient, I usually listen to it before/while I am going to sleep. (Sounds even better with my new headphones. ;p)

I've been playing Siren Blood Curse/ New Translation on and off, which is a really good game; nice and chilling, similar to Silent Hill. Which would make sense considering the guy who made Silent Hill also created the Siren series.

(I also have Parasite Eve, but I haven't had a chance to start it, either.)

My dad made me solve puzzles for this game when I was 10... after midnight... in the dark.

It left deep, deep emotional scars...

Haven't played the latest though I've been told not to bother myself.
Still like one best, although 2's story was probably better... there's some interesting psychological info about this game I found once upon a time. Makes for a good read.

And the soundtrack pushed this series from good to shit-your-pants scary.

i love silent hill but the latest games (silent hill 4 5 and origins) were a dissapointment
my favourite is silent hill 3 (which also has in my opinion the creepiest moment in videogames)

dead space isnt scary at all at least it wasnt scary for me

I honestly thought those games weren't scary at all. Fun, but not scary. Dead Space just induces so much paranoia, thats the best part.
