Let's forget the power of the Glove after it is broken; he was still on a Lt. level or higher(not Captain) And the enemies we have seen so far are absolutely not stronger than the ones in SS. Mayuri completely destroyed Sayzel, guess who Ishida beat while in SS........Mayuri.

Let's also not forget that Mayuri, as well as the other captains, are allowed to become stronger lol. It's not like once they hit Captain status they completely quit training becoming stronger.

I agree with Whewt to the point where Chad is as strong as a Vice Captain, but not Captain class...yet.

I think you are underestimating the strength of a Captain. They are, to our knowledge, the strongest rank of Shinigami in Soul Society. If they can't defend against Espada, the Espada could have organized some kind of massacre ages ago. Captains are expected to protect the "citizens in the afterlife" if you want to call it that, so they can't be weak.

Now Ishida is strong, smart, agile, and experienced. His strength might pail into comparison to Chad's, but he utilizes it in such a way that his strength is more efficient. No doubt Ishida is one of the smartest characters in the series. He has been training his Quincy heritage since he was a child. And finally, he is agile, as well as Chad, not denying that.

Chad is less experienced than Ishida, since he just recently learned about his powers, and his powers are continuing to develop. Chad might not be the smartest muscle head in town...but he ain't a dumb hunk either. He's quick, and hella strong.

I just think Ishida's strengths overpower Chad's, for now that is. Bleach isn't over yet.

Get real, he has all the essentials, and is his own powersource. He has far more abilities and techniques to keep himself so far ahead of Chad it's ridiclous. I think you need a refresher on Ishidas abilities.

Although I must agree Chad is on a low captain level. Maybe Ikkaku level, vice captain with perks. But Ishida is in a different leauge. And you are completely wrong, Ishida was not stronger in SS. People seem to make this assumption that captains can't improve because their already at captain status, but that's obviously incorrect.

I agree with Synergy the opponent level has stepped up beyond belief. And Ishidas been doing this since he was a child, and has been trained like no other, Chad doesn't even know what his powers do.

I'll admit that I haven't even thought about Ishida's battle smarts, and his ability to to breakdown an opponent much stronger than himself. Which is what Ishida is strongest at. So that was my mistake, but even with that certain things have to fall into place for Ishida to use his ability's to the fullest, where as Chad can use his full strength(physical)at any time.

If Ishida did have a chance to get Chad in a position where he would be completely defenseless against the Seele Schneider; then Chad would probably lose. BUT that is only if the battle where to play out to Ishida's advantage.

I also think that if they fought in HM Chad would have the advantage, just like if they fought in SS where Ishida would have the advantage.

I think that if you say that the Captain's have gotten stronger it is speculation. Not saying you are wrong, but we have no proof that they have even trained while in SS. Of course you would assume that, but I still don't think they have.

i picked ishida....it would be a really great fight they both have their strengths but i think ishida was the upper hand with his brain...idk i think he would eventually just out smart chad....enless chad could get a hold of him and never let go ....honestly it could go either way....there should have been a tie option lol

Go back and read the arrancar arc SJ. Yamamoto clearly told everyone to harness and tone their skills until this battle takes place. Not to mention it would just be retarded to claim the captains haven't gotten more powerful. And Ishida would have just as much an advantage in HM as Chad, if not more.

And you've clearly contradicted yourself praising his "battle smarts" then dubbing him unable to render Chad in a position for victory. At most Chad could damage Ishida's body to an extent, which would be pointless damage to a Quincy. If Ishida got threatened by his "hypothetical" wounds, he would just apply his skills like he did in the Mayuri fight.

Im loving how me an Synergy used almost the same argument. This discussion is pointless, Ishida is one of our strongest protagonists, you people need to start over.
