I understand there's already a "will Ace be killed thread," but I have never predicted One Piece correctly and have stopped trying; I'll get there when Oda gets there.

However,my question is, should Ace be killed?

Killing off Ace gives Luffy motivation, adds a certain amount of harshness to their journey (and One Piece can be a bit too perky sometimes), and foreshadows a certain awesome intensity for the new world.

Well, Ace's life is in your hands.

it would definitly would have a huge impact on luffy if he did die but i dont think he should
atleast uuntil we understand him more which i think we will
there wil probably be a flashback explaining his life with his brother =, why/how he ate the fruit and all of that
then!..he can die...but i dnt want him to =0

Argh tough one!

I just love Ace too much, he can't die D:

But it would definitely bring some 'drama' and give Luffy some monster reason to become stronger :/

But for the sake of Monkey Family reunion, he should stay alive

well as far as we know Ace hates Dragon so he would prolly never go the reunion in the first place ;p
I dont want Ace to die his a cool character .... Would be nice if he lived and a old geezer like Whitebeard died ... + that would give a small possibility of Ace joining his brothers crew

(small .. very small ...)
+ would be nice if the SH's had a logia user on board..

That's the point, Dragon saves Ace, tells him a tall epic and dramatic story as 'why I left yerr mom' and there goes the happy reunion

I'd rather have WB die saving Ace and then Ace takes WB's place as Captain :O

Would Ace want to become Captain of a crew thats been around for 20++ years ? .. and would it be ok for Marco and Jozu (other division captains) if WB dies his crew dies with him ..
