Fairy Tail Anime Green-Lit for Fall 2009!!!

Ladies and Gentleman the time has finally arrived for the awesome manga Fairy Tail to get an anime adaptation made of it, which will start releasing episodes on a weekly schedule starting in Fall 2009, I hope you are all as excited as I am since Fairy Tail is a very amazing manga and the anime should be even better. Finally they are going to be making it into an anime!!!

Quick Summary for those who don't read Fairy Tail but wanna know what it is about: A young sorceress, Lucy Heartfilia, travels to the land of Fiore to join the magical Fairy Tail Guild. Along the way, she meets Natsu Dragneel, a teenage boy looking for a dragon named Igneel. Shortly after their meeting, Lucy is abducted by Bora of Prominence, who was posing as Salamander of Fairy Tail, to be sold as a slave. Natsu rescues her and reveals that he is the real Salamander and has the skills of a Dragon Slayer. He offers her membership into the guild, which she accepts, and they become a team performing various missions for the Fairy Tail guild.

I disagree with the "amazing manga" part but it should be good :O or the producers will horribly screw it up and i'll be manga exclusive about it

i hope they do it like one piece where there re very few fillers,

but also its different from the other 3 cause when they came out as anime they had been mangas for a year to a year and a half and had 10 volumes, with this fairy tail will have been out for 2 years with 20 volumes so hopefully few fillers

I was planing on reading FT in the far future(since I've had enough of shounen already), but I guess I'll start reading it before fall.

dudes just admit the fact that fairy tail is a pretty good and fun to read manga, and i also hope that they will make it like One Piece and not like Rave Master because then it'll be really awesome, anyway for those who havent read fairy tail yet, i would recommend you read it but if you dont it wont matter since it will be coming out in fall anyway
